There was loads of articles saying they're willing to meet the release clause, and I can't see us accepting any lower to be honest.

75million BBC - BBC Sport - Luis Suarez: Liverpool & Barcelona agree deal for striker
I guarantee he has gone for that - the release clause would have had to have been met, which was 75million
Such an odd transfer: bad for you and highly debatable for them. Not what you would expect to be saying when we're talking about a fee of 75m.
Still fascinated to see how the trio of Neymar, Messi and Suarez will work - Both Neymar and Suarez flourish being the main man and with Messi in the side they wont be
You could argue Suarez was as successful as he was because the Liverpool side was built around him
100%. To me it's a sign that Barca may be moving away from their tiki taka style. Having said that, why sell Sanchez if that is the case? They're worse than us when it comes to transfers, I can never understand what the **** they are doing.

This transfer is about politics and ego, and not really about player quality or match.
Same with Real Madrid possibly selling Di Maria to get James Rodriguez
They're going to need to change the style to account for the fact that none of the front 3 like to do any defensive work.
Something along the lines of Busquets-Mascherano-Iniesta in the middle and Neymar-Suarez-Messi in the front. On paper it looks unstoppable.
You'd think Real Madrid will most definitely try and get a big signing now Barca have.

I trust Brendan Rodgers, and he deserves that after the season we have had but the players we seem to be targeting are not really exciting many fans, including me
£135 million Rodgers will spend by the end of the window apparently and that will be on Lallana, Lambert, Can, Markovic, Lovren, Bony, Moreno (Davies, Bertrand back up) and perhaps Remy
Not sure if it is just me, but thats a lot of inexperienced decent players, not great for a £135million outlay... Just hoping there is one surprise big name signing
What you need is a one proven marquee player who will take the spotlight and in a way shield those other players and allow them to do their thing in relative peace. If Sturridge can score even more goals this season then of course he could be that player. If I remember right he was the player who scored in big matches last season and not Suarez?
Otherwise I think those are decent enough signings. Not so sure on some of them like Markovic as I think Griezmann would be much better option.
Barcelona president Bartomeu when asked about English reports of Suarez fee "It's closer to what Barcelona sources say. Didn't reach €85m."
