It seems the Remy deal falling through could all well be down to Borini not moving.. Redknapp in his presser stating the striker passed medicals at QPR and Newcastle recentley so is not sure how he could have failed

That seems pretty strange ... Didn't Remy fly all the way to America and agre personal terms and everything?

Because they took the gamble. He failed a medical before for it, which is why he went to Marseille previously

It's a shame about the Remy deal falling through would have liked him at Liverpool although you can't take the risk when a person's life is potentially at risk.

Already seen the jokes going around that they will be called Scousehampton this year.

In all seriousness it could go two ways for Liverpool this year. Yes they are adding depth to their squad but could have problems fitting evryone into their squad. The other advantage is they have got alot of their players with Prem experience. Then again it could all go **** up and they could end up be fighting outside the top four. It is going to be interesting how it goes.

I don't think there will be any problems with players fitting into the squad. It was evident last year that we didn't have a plan B or C especially in the Chelsea game. The players we have brought in so far help us add depth and give Rodger's the option to change things up if our game plan isn't effective.

Yes I know.. But it seems a foolish decision from my point of view. Can't exactly remember these failed medicals having much of an impact previously?

All points to Borini deal collapsing as LFC would have knew about past medicals, everyone did

Yep! What makes it worse is he apparently failed the medical from something that everybody has known for years

It's about insurance and gambles. Other clubs decided it didnt bother them as much.

Interesting stats comparing Henderson and Herrera...

Oh dear haha.

But yes, I don't like comparing players from one league to another, with totally different teams, Herrera by his standards started the season really poor.

Bebe performs well in the Portugese league for whatever reason, Idk... still look up to him though considering what he's been through he's come a long way.

Bebe is not a bad player, just gets his reputation because of his price tag and given Fergie had never seen him play

Obviously leagues are completely different and i really rate Herrera, i was just surprised with those stats which were quite poor attacking wise considering he was playing in an advanced position

If Liverpool would have signed Remy they'd be dead certs to win the league. As it is they'll struggle to finish 7th.

Jone - Kelly, Toure, Coates, Enrique

That is our back five for tonight's game against Man City... It is going to be a long night
