Recently, as each game comes I've been thinking "It can't be as bad as last week." aaaaaand every time it is.
We were not good, but Everton were verging on terrible. How we were only 1-0 up in the 90th is something only Balotelli can answer for. Without Sturridge [& Suarez] we lack any player who is willing to make runs into the box and find space to actually score goals.
Jagielka's goal will cover up what was one of the worst Everton derby performances I've ever seen. Which is rather ironic, because Gerrard's goal almost covered up one of the worst Liverpool performances of the season.
Sturridge, come back.
I can only imagine how much better we would have done with a Remy/Balotelli partnership today.![]()
Really? Numerous chances and was we to finish better its a completely different story. Villa, West Ham and Ludogarets were far, far worse performances.
I would even say it is our best performance besides from the Spurs win
IMO, the chances were there because Everton hadn't turned up. The chances weren't converted because we were awful.
It's harsh to base our performance on Everton playing terrible rather than us playing well - the chances weren't converted because we were poor when it came to finishing
I honestly cannot see how you think that was a bad/ one of the worst performances this season.
So it seems Sakho left the ground today after not making the squad. I rate him and believe he should be at least on the bench however, it is poor for a player to leave the squad altogether
Unfortunately I cant see much of a future for him. It has shown Rodgers does not rate him that highly since he arrived
63 - In his last 20 Premier League appearances, Mario Balotelli has hit 63 shots but scored just one goal. Scattergun.

1 goal in 20 games playing for City and Liverpool.
..Really? One picture of a player going to his car before a match and you say he's out? Hmm.
He's a good player in a very poor defensive system and he will continue to get better. Selling him would be silly.
Sakho just apologised to the fans for leaving Anfield early
Mingolet getting some stick on MNF by Neville and Carragher. Think there right tbh!
Agree mate, They both seem to pick up on the flaw in his stance, being crouched way to low before oppo shoots. Carragher said he could of done better for some goals last season if his stance were right and not crouched so low, like when he got done by Negredo last season VS City.Absolutely.
Fantastic shot stopper and his reflexes are also very good but in terms of coming of his line and command of area he is very poor... Cant help but feel Begovic would have been the perfect player for us
