14 million though, 14 million :/
Not that you would have spent it wisely

Your the only one making huge issue LOL.Yeah but again, anyone can lose their head when the atmosphere is so fierce. Borini is only human after all. Got rightly sent off. No need to make a huge issue out of it. He was giving 200% on the pitch
Sure if you can bring someone Suarez's quality. But last season was a freak season where Gerrard and Henderson, ****, even Alan played out of their mind. This season they are back to their regular service and it hurts Liverpool.I disagree. Its a position we need to improve on but last season proved other positions are more important to us

Why coz I said he should not be there. Was stating a fact as Liverpool or Rodgers don't want him, that's why they nearly sold him. He turned move down, god knows why. Clearly they wanted rid!Yeah sure go look at your original post

People are too quick to suggest the whole season was Suarez - Yes, of course he helped but he also missed quite a few games through bans and the odd injury/fitness worry
we had the perfect system for the players we had and the loss of Sturridge and Suarez effect the whole team, none more so than the midfielders who had options to target when in possession
He was your main player, let alone best one. He was perfect player for pressing Liverpool did last season. This year you have Balotelli pressing defenders. Balotelli. Pressing. Of course Suarez wasn't the only reason why Liverpool did so good, but he was the main one. Thats what world class players does. Getting Suarez back would lift Liverpool massively.People are too quick to suggest the whole season was Suarez - Yes, of course he helped but he also missed quite a few games through bans and the odd injury/fitness worry

Bleh, lets be honest here, you basically did the Spurs this year. Sold the guy who was carrying the entire team, and replaced him with a bunch of duds. The thing about Suarez is that he's not just pass-and-he'll-score kind of player, he works incredibly hard for the team in every game, pulling people out of position, creating space fast guys like Sturridge and Sterling can exploit. You have to constantly keep him in check for 90 minutes, beause he will annihilate you if allowed to roam free. Replacing that kind of quality isn't easy, but for a 100 million it should be ****** possible if manager and the transfer comitee actually know what they are doing.
Selling was a right idea, provided money is used wisely. Evidently it wasn't. Its basically Torres 2.0.
It's really easy to say all this in hindsight, mind
Of Liverpool's signings, only Balotelli could easily be predicted to fail, and even then he might've done well with more tactical flexibility. Lallana was coming off a great season (albeit he was overpriced), Can was and is a very talented young player, Markovic was a talent from a club that has a track record of developing excellent players, Lovren was a logical addition, Moreno made sense and Lambert was a decent pick up.
Balo was obviously a bad idea from the start, its not that I don't think he's talented, but replacing one player with extreme behaviour problems with another players that has very similar issues, is just bizzare.
I actually feel FSG will allow Rodgers to bring in some quality in January and with Sturridge back, we will see a different Liverpool in the second half of the season. Records are meant to be broken after all
Its quite a unique season as well considering the low point totals from the majority of clubs - we are still only five points behind Arsenal after all
If Sturridge returns and we sign at least 1 good starting playing then we have a chance but January is vital to us
