People were laughing at the links to Delph but he would certainly be an upgrade judging on this ****** performance.

dont judge him by this performance trust me he is not that good and is not an upgrade, we are just playing poor due to the way weve set up.

Problem we have is that we have no plan B. Think it was Guardiola said recently he has a plan A-Z. That's something we have been packing for a while.

Easier to have a plan A-Z when all he has managed is the world's best teams haha

i kinda feel for rodgers, damned if he plays stevie. damned if he doesnt play stevie.

I know, I agree... I said based on this performance (Delph and LFC midfield)

The problems lie a lot deeper than the way we are set-up though

Obviously haha. But that doesn't stop is having more than one plan. While I love watching the playing out from the back, if the opposition is pressing high and stopping it, we do need to try something else.

Oh, I agree... bigger games the past few years have been painful to watch for this reason (the majority of the time anyway)

rodgers getting shown up in a big game AGAIN what a joke he has to be sacked in the summer now

Fair play to Villa and Sherwood, they totally deserved that win and for me Grealish was MOTM, superb performance from the young lad. But Liverpool didn't look up for it once Villa equalised, very poor and I didn't even notice Gerrard was playing until the second half. Cue the calls for Rodgers to be sacked.

they were magnifcant, kudos to them. we played right into there hand by playing a pedestrian midfield. anytime stevie plays further forward someone has to to the running for him which meant hendo had zero influenece on the game. allen isnt a bad player but he just does nothing what so ever, hes too small to win any headers, too small to exert himself as a midfield destroyer. all he does is recycle possesion and in a game of this importance it just was not enough.

With Klopp available and city not really looking like they want him, I wouldn't be surprised

klopp will most likely take a year break, but if i was ian ayre i would do everything possible to get him.

Klopp said so himself that he doesn't intend to take a break. I am not sure if Klopp would be the right manager for Liverpool but that's for LFC fans to decide

Whether I agree with it or not, I think Rodgers may be in trouble

The manner of the defeat, the failure to secure top four and Klopp becoming available may sway the opinions of FSG

I think FSG would know before deciding on Rodgers that the likelihood of Klopp coming to a club that most likely won't be in the CL is unlikely, just an opinion of course I may be wrong.
