I like this list. Dybala won't happen, he's already joining Juventus I believe, but the others are good. I don't expect another centre back either, it would just be a smart move as I think that Lovren and Toure aren't good enough, Sakho is injury prone, and I know Skrtl has been important, I still think he's a bit reckless.

I would also add to my list, having reconsidered, a defensive mid. I hope we don't sell Lucas, but whether we do or not,a defensive mid like Wanyama, Kondogbia, or someone else who can do that job should be a priority. Not that I think we are likely to get either of those two.
I would be happy if we signed Kovacic for sure, I think the Pjanic and Vidal links are unrealistic, but I think a more defensive minded player should be prioritised.

Well the whole Kolo/Yaya link, the unhappiness of Yaya, the unhappiness of Sterling and the interest of City combined with people believing Liverpool need to make a statement this summer, It's a good rumour haha

Have to wait and see if there is any genuine truth in it

If i am correct, we also should be cheering on Arsenal today. An Aston Villa win and we'll be starting out season mid-late July as the first English team entering the competition

I very much doubt there's any shred of truth in it, but for arguments sake let's say there is, that would be an incredibly backwards move IMHO.

Milner would be one thing. But paying the ridiculous wages it would take to snag Toure, on top of the fee; for a 32 year old who wouldn't be the difference maker in a top team to take you over the top; would be as boneheaded as they come.

Yup. An Arsenal win would open up an extra place via the League (FA Cup runners-up no longer get the Europa place if the winners are already in the Champions League), which would go to Southampton. Who in turn would take our place in the qualifiers and we'd go straight into the groups. A Villa win, and there's 4 qualifiers (2 rounds) to get through before the groups starting the last Thursday in July.

So come on you Gunners!

Yaya Toure wouldn't be a difference maker in a top team? That's possibly one of the most bizarre statements I have seen on here and that takes some going

I fully understand it's high wages for a 32 year old, but that 32 year old would be our best player or one of them should he 'hypothetically' join LFC

You misread me.

Liverpool aren't a top team where bringing in Toure would be justified if he was the final difference making piece.

It was an adrenaline filled 8 days of travel, bevy, game, party; travel, bevy, game, party; travel, bevy, game, party.

Houllier was a crank. But he was a loveable crank and he was our crank ha ha.

Fantastic memories. Thanks for that. Happy days.

This Villa team destroyed us...Says it all about us.

Benteke's ******* gash, don't care what you say. Not ran all game, only won about two headers all game, neither achieving anything.

We where an absolute disgrace the semi. Like you say we made Villa look good which tells you how bad we were. The only saving grace is it saved us an *** kicking the final.

As for Benteke, said it above. NO WAY is he anything like a 30 million pound footballer. All power and little else. His technical ability, a pre requisite for a forward in Rodgers bollocks system, is none existent. And his lack of pace is frightening. Let's swap our existent forwards for another forward who doesn't fit but he's scored goals the second half of the year so he's the latest big thing again.

Brilliant. The logic at Anfield is seriously frightening.

We were a disgrace, but Villa also played out of their skins... both contributed IMO, and that's why so many shocks happen in the FA Cup more so than any other competition
