Ah, understood. My bad...

I suppose it would depend on the price, our budget and other targets as to whether it would be a sensible move
well considering toure is on 200k plus i think it would be far from sensible. thats not even including our cake budget.

So owners considering possible options if Rodgers goes, Klopp's top [Times].

I really hope the owners bring him in, it's not often that such a good manager is available and another season of mediocrity could see such managers lose interest in future. I don't dislike Rodgers and if we can't get an upgrade then we may as well stick with him, as long as the transfer strategy changes.

But even if anyone thinks Klopp isn't any better than Rodgers, he's still worth pursuing due to his reputation, he'll be much more likely to attract top talent. It's not what you know, it's who you know, or in this case, how well you're known. Klopp for the Kop!

He's the one man who'd unify the whole fanbase.

Even those who are vainly hanging on to backing Rodgers concede that Klopp would be a better option and would happily make that change.

Ancelotti would of been great and a great leveller for the loss of Champions League football in attracting the very best players, but our current situation and the lure of Milan, where it appears he's heading back to, was always 2 massive obstacles to overcome there. But if there's ANY chance of bagging Klopp it would be to our detriment to let that slip through our finger tips.

Klopp for the Kop! indeed. :)

Totally agree, just hypothetical. Even if they were just as good as one another, Klopp's reputation gives him a clear edge and makes him more likely to succeed. Plus, the fact that he knows how to win things can only help the players in big matches. It just so happens that he's also a much better manager

well hes done awsome with bvb to build that team to what thay did plus having to put up with the **** from bayern every year taking there best players its just this season where its been not so good but think that just of thoses things still think rodgers needs more time but if kloop wants it do every thing you can to get him

Don't worry, I recognise as much as anyone everything that Klopp has accomplished, Dortmund are my favourite team after Liverpool! His work there has been nothing short of incredible, and I'd love to see him do the same with Liverpool. What's more, it's less likely that players will leave us for our rivals if we start challenging for the title regularly under him. He's a world class manager, and the owners should do everything in their power to bring him in.

Not everyone is desperate to join PL clubs.

Klopp on more than one occasion has spoke about Liverpool, the similarities with Dortmund and his preference to manage in England one day

I would be very confident that if it came down to Napoli or Liverpool it would be a simple decision for him

Any interviews of him talking about Liverpool?

I searched for it but it shows up the recent links for the job and none about his interview.

I challenge you to find one direct quote/ video of him talking about Liverpool. He has talked about managing in England, yes, but not at Liverpool.

I would be very confident that if it came down to a choice between those two he probably wouldn't pick either. I wouldn't be surprised if he succeeded Wenger though.

If I remember rightly it will be after the friendly against Dortmund pre-season but even harder to find now with all the links to him in recent weeks taking up all the searches!

It was nothing direct, just talking in general about England and Liverpool
