His move to City would be justified tbf. Liverpool could benefit from the £50 million. Sterling would be a guaranteed starter for a champions league team, with a better squad and greater prospects of winning trophies. I also think that with the new signings and persuasion (rather than trying to bully him into signing a contract), Sterling would have signed a new contract by now. Sterling probably isn't the only player in the world with a difficult agent, however that isn't an excuse for Rodgers and Aidy Ward to screw this up. Would you Liverpool fans consider it a win-win if he goes to City for £50 million?
For all this bullying it seems Sterling is keeping the situation in the media, not Liverpool... It had quietened down before he decided to not to go on tour
