Liverpool should really hire me for their transfers. My Regen finding level is second to none...

Benteke would be very underwhelming for Liverpool, surely Berahino would be a better fit than him?

Txiki Begiristain has surely got to be out of a job very shortly. He's massively ****** this transfer up, spent shitloads of money and completely failed to develop City at all. I know that's not a Liverpool issue but him spending 50 ******* million pounds on Sterling, who I do rate and do genuinely expect to become a very good player but don't think is worth a penny over 30, is just the icing on the failure cake.

Spent all that money on the campus and have being doing good at youth level and I have read they are not taking any youngsters on tour. Then blowing stupid money on Sterling. Crazy ran club!

Completely agree but all I'll say again is if he's the club's/ BR's choice, then so be it. They stand and fall by that. The manger knows he can't afford to finish outside the top 4 places this year and if he truly believes Benteke is the right man, then so be it. Go pay the money and hope it pays off.

If they're standing by their manager they have to back his judgement whether anyone agrees or not.

I hope Rodgers has learnt his lesson from Balotelli and adapts the tactics to suit his new striker. Benteke could be great for you, if you play to his strengths.

Berahino is not the answer... I think we already have a very similar player at the same point in his career in Origi

Not to mention he would cost 15-20mil and that's probably being unrealistic

From Twitter: (Shame we cant replace as well, mind)

Torres, Suarez and Sterling bought for £48m, sold for £170m, who do we think we are? Porto? #LFC

Just watching a Sky report .....

14 league assists? Is that all he's had? Seriously? Man, I didn't realise he'd been that poor.

18 league goals and 14 assists through 95 league games.

Enjoy City.

Same here, I'd say we could strike up a partnership? :P

You find players across the globe and the UK, I find players in Europe. :)

Im sure if everyone IRL knew the youth recruitment days, messi would be playing for wycombe wanderers.

14 assists. That blows me away.

Where's the Arsenal fella' who said he was World class?

I never said that he was world class. I said that he is the only Liverpool player that looks like he will definately become world class. In 2012-13 he had 2 goals and 2 assists in 24 games. To put this into perspective, he was only 18 years old. When he was 19 and 20, his numbers were much better. Last season, Liverpool's strikers failed miserably, explaining his lack of assists. Stats can be manipulated to make any player look good or bad. Look the number of chances created in the past 2 seasons and see how 'poor' he's been. I love it that he's now a poor player now that he's leaving Liverpool and 'Ibe was always better'.
