How likely is Henderson to play tomorrow?

How likely is Henderson to play tomorrow?

Monday night mate and it's not looking promising.

Hearing last night he probably won't play. Not trained this week after injuring the foot last Monday.

Not officially ruled out as of now but I'd lean that way.

Not good at all, I really can't see us winning, and even a draw is a stretch, without Henderson

I'd be very tempted to go with a Lucas - Can - Milner midfield trio with Coutinho - Firmino/Ibe/Lallana - Benteke ahead of them

Sadly we have stubborn *** who's fallen out with Lucas so that one more than likely ain't happening anytime soon.

Yep, I can see it being Can and Milner with Ibe/Coutinho/Lallana and Benteke as our attack

Can't see anything else other than getting overrun if that is the case

Also big test for Gomez facing fluid attacking team.

Also good time for Liverpool to play with 3 midfielders.

I wouldnt be that downhearted mates, this is the best time to play arsenal as they look very disjointed. Massive test for the centre halfs i just feel lovren and skrtels lack of pace will be targeted.

Yep - the lad has been impressive so far but this will be a big test for him

I think it will be a huge mistake if there are not 3 in midfield. Especially considering Rodgers has stated most the summer he wants to play 4-3-3 this season

Can - Milner - Lucas not the most creative but in these types of games it's about the result and taking away your opponents strengths (or attempting too)

But I have the same feeling about Arsenal defensively. Their centre backs are as bad as ours, with little protection in front. And it's an ideal time to face Cech whilst he's still rusty and not got games under his belt again.

Provided we don't sit, there's goals in this for us and Benteke could well be ideal if we play him right.

Still real confident of ending the Emirates hoodoo.

Agreed however arsenal have sanchez, oxlade etc... who can all get in behind. If were only playing one up top in benteke im not sure he is going to spin in behind that often. I feel the only way were going to beat arsenal is whipping it in for benteke and making sure that havoc he will cause will result in players in and around the box. The past two games everytime benteke has won the ball there has been a lack of players in the box to take advantage. Something I would expect hendo to do but his being asked to play def mid so there's not much he can do.

Yeah, stop them playing and hitting them on counter would be the best thing to do. They have excellent players who will kill teams if given space.

Ive kinda given up on relying on Sturridge. The guy makes aurelio look injury free.

If and it's a big IF, Sturridge returns to full fitness people have almost forgot about the guy - It will be a huge bonus if we can get him fit and keep him fit

I have no doubt a fully fit Sturridge alongside what we've already got can challenge for 3rd/4th - It's just getting him to that stage

Thats the problem can we get him fully fit without him breaking down again. A fully fit daniel is one of the best strikers in the league.

Mertesacker, Koscielny are a solid defensive partnership. Look at goals conceded and clean sheets over the past 5 years and say how bad our defence is. The reason for our 2015 form is Coquelin protecting the back 4. Liverpool aren't good enough defensively to park the bus imo and balance is the key. Milner should play wide, then Coutinho should play in between Can and Lucas. Forming should have a chance to show what he's made of.

I agree with you its a common idea that kosch and espcially mertesacker are awful. When in truth their excellent defenders. Thats what happens when people think MOTD analysis is gods word.

Koscielny particularly. Hes world class. He could play for any team in the world. They went 48 games without losing together. The season before last, they even got Szczesny to win a golden glove!

Last season, Chelsea conceded 32, Southampton conceded 33, Arsenal conceded 36 and Liverpool conceded 48. Now tell me who's defence is weak.

Kosch is defo worldclass. Its just people pick on mertesacker lack of pace when in fact his got excellent positioning. Its when he makes a mistake that his lack of pace gets pointed out and is then overhyped. But when our best defender is apparently set to leave and we have a partnership of skrtel and lovren which imo is the weakest in the top 6 then i think we cant really chat ****.
