I really fear that we are becoming smaller and smaller as a team.

Exactly. Who the **** is gonna drop their jaw from hearing "Brendan Rodgers wants you in his team"? No one. It's more likely to provoke a headscratch and a shrug.

The thing is, Rodgers was (allegedly) given more power in the transfer dealings this summer, but what has he done? He bought Clyne and Gomez, the only two transfers I can honestly say I'm pleased with so far. Well that's good and all, but that's just 2 players out of 7 (not counting the 2 youngsters that were signed).

He signs Firmino and still hasn't played him in his best position. He signs Benteke and then complains "it's too easy to play it long to Benteke", yet that's all we do. He replaces an average goalkeeper backup with another average goalkeeper backup - status quo. He signs James Milner, reportedly to make up for the loss of Gerrard, but keeps playing Milner and Henderson together in central midfield without even bothering to look for a decent DM, which leaves us with two pretty identical players who both lack that creative vision we know Gerrard has (or at least had). Oh, and Ings was brought in... to... replace Balotelli? Replace Lambert? I don't know, he might be a step up from both of them, but I still don't see how a decent Burnley player is gonna make any impact on the team. Especially not when played as a ******* wing back, which he de facto was against United.

Oh well, at least we were able to send the £20m signing Markovic out on loan, because who the **** needs more than one winger anyway? It's not like Benteke could ever use some wide support, let's just isolate him up there and play like Greece anno 2004.

I found that loan a bit ridiculous myself.
 
Bit of inexperience from Gomez letting their striker juggle the ball in the box prior to the goal... And here I was thinking we were on for a good result
 
Not too bad, in terms of the table a point away from home first game is okay. Some of the youngsters handed a chance did well, but the fact Sakho is included in these games still remains a mystery.

He is without doubt our best CB, yet will have to settle for a place on the bench this Sunday
 
He moved his ankle as mig was stepping over him... You can see kolo's foot move in the same direction as mig is moving.
As he puts his foot down, he feels it and stays on tip toes as much as possible.

By 9am tomorrow, The Sun will be reporting a pre match bust up, 2 cases of adultery and that Mignolet actually shot Kolo in the face with a shotgun loaded with balls of his own *****.

I think Mingnolet had been cheating on his wife with 2 women before the game. Kolo was going to grass him up to his Mrs so he shot Kolo in the face with a shotgun loaded with balls of his own *****.

Something like that anyway mate, read it in The Sun this morning

I almost believed your theory but as soon as I've reached the "shot Kolo in the face with a shotgun loaded with balls of his own *****" part I kneeeeeew it's impossible 'cos Minionlet cannot aim at all.
