And there is the obligatory Mingolet ****-up.

But we didn't need to replace him .....

That's why you don't risk Sturridge from the start.

Play Ings and we have 2 up all game. Sighs.

The worse thing is, this has actually been one of our better games but the mistake from Mignolet will overshadow that...

We have to start taking some of our chances

Audiable (and justifiable) boos at the whistle.

Another step nearer his exit.

Nottin' else to add at this juncture.

To be honest, it's hard to blame Rodgers alone for this result. His job is make us create chances, and we did. But he can't be there to hold the player's ******* hands when they're gonna finish. Milner should've scored, Coutinho should've passed it to Ings, and there were at least two more chances that could easily have ended in the back of the net with a bit more quality.

Ings was great, Coutinho was far too selfish. I think he had 6 or 7 shots alone, and I don't think any of them hit the target.

Let Gomez and Lovren play against Carlisle, and put Moreno and Sakho back in the team against Aston Villa. They were probably our best players today. Milner and Coutinho were weak.

Today was better in a lot of aspects, but as mentioned on the previous page, a Mignolet mistake does overshadow it and puts more pressure on Rodgers (His own making before today, of course)

We should have won that game comfortably but poor decision making and bad finishing cost us - That is not something Rodgers can change

Im just gonna go ahead and say it. I wish we had bought heung min son instead of firmino, every time I see him play he gets better. Just my opinion.

It takes a lot of frustration for us to boo at the end of our games. BR must be sweating.

Ings looked like he wanted it so much. Hats off to him he really wants to grab this chance he's been given by the scruff of the neck. Made up he scored.

I didn't go the game today but my dad did and managed to get a picture of this:

It was a match we should've won. But it was also a match we really could've thrown away..

Neglecting to attend to the most vulnerable area on the team two seasons running, the goalkeeper (he is an average back-up quality goalkeeper at best. However much you want to argue the contrary), IS something Rodgers could of changed.

Yeah, today was better but that's not saying much as we still failed to beat a VERY mediocre Norwich side. Failing to win at home. AGAIN!

Pluses- Ings looked great and really had a go. Moreno was fantastic going forward. We created chances. As disjointed as a lot of the play was.

Minuses (the perennial weak link Mingolet aside)- Should never of started Sturridge. One weeks training after being out so long and it naturally badly showed. No need to be so desperate in a game you should win. And with Benteke going off, if you'd started Ings, you'd of had 2 forwards on all game. Coutinho. Seam's to be really struggling with the extra responsibility of being 'the' man now and is trying too hard for me to produce like Gerrard. Keep it simple and don't overplay Phil. Milner- another VERY disappointing outing. Not sure how he lasted the full 90. Say it again, at City, when he was the workhorse with top quality around him he fit in well. Here, when the emphasis is on him to do more, he's thus far been well short. Can't fault his work rate, but the rest isn't good. And Can is NOT a defender. When is that **** gonna' stop? He's struggling as it is without having him out of position back there.

Should of won. Could easily of thrown it all away. Bottom line we should be beating Norwich City at home. Moral victory's that it's better than it has been mean nottin'.

If I'm him, I'm going full strength Wednesday. But he won't. And honestly, Carlisle has a Northampton feel all over.

We screw that up, the pressure against Villa will be immense and everything rolls.

Can't paint this in a real positive light at all. As Tezzz noted above, it takes a LOT for us to let our frustrations be known at the game and the boos were very audible at the end. This is over 20 odd games now. We're a mess and it's just as liable to get worse as it is better.

The last thing you want is to go up against Villa under immense pressure. Sherwood may not be the sharpest tactically but you bet his players will be pumped for a big game against Liverpool and will smell blood if they arrive wounded

I know I've said this before, but who the **** do you even bring in if you get rid of Rodgers now? This is realistically speaking, please no one mention Klopp as it's extremely unlikely and he has already had far more attractive offers than Liverpool whilst maintaining he is staying on his sabbatical. (Not a dig just true).

Thise 'far more attractive offers than Liverpool' Klopp's allegedly had. They would be ..... ?

I'd happily have Kenny step back into the breach short term until either Ancelotti or Klopp are available. At the very least he'd galvanise the support.

One things for sure. This can't continue like this. This isn't just a new season/ new players assimilating/ bad start thing. This has been going on spreading over two seasons now and is just a continuation of the disgraceful run-in from last year.
