Of course it was, because this is the present and people feel strongly about things when it is happening now

Worst ever feeling about this football club? Complete and utter overreaction

The point at which you were almost destroyed by H&G was much worse. You were not too far off from being dismantled.

Problem is Liverpool don't even look like they are going places. Someone like Ancellotti probably has one more club left in him. He'll be keeping an eye out on both Manchester clubs and indeed Bayern, as would Klopp. All 3 clubs in better shape on and off the field.

Which is why Fenway would need to go all in and completely back whomever and give them whatever they wanted. Changing their whole structure in the process.

Do that and the lure of restoring Liverpool to the top of the tree is a strong one for anyone to turn down.

The man that finally brought home #19 after over a quarter of a Century would be idolised like no other.

But that just isnt as big a deal any more though. Both managers are already idolised as well.

Personally, he'd be my number 2 as I'm with you. Ancelotti would be the top choice. He's one of the top 2 or 3 coaches in the World for me (if not the best given his European record); and not only ticks every managerial box, he's as humble and dignified a man as they come. In the traditional LFC manner.

Meh, I love Carlo to death, but his league record is honestly rather poor. 3 league titles in over 20 years of managing some of the most expensive sides ever assembled. That's not that special. He's a cup manager, but you need to be in cup competitions in a first place to utilise a cup manager.

I'd take Klopp any day. He's the guy for the longterm.

Oh heck. If your talking in general terms, I suffered through two disasters in my childhood, teens that no person should have to deal with and still bare the mental wounds that sting to this day. NOTHING gets any worse than that.

But on the field. it's never been as bad as this that anyone can remember. And that's from lads older than me that have been going the match regularly longer than my three decades or so worth. We just had a first team squad fail to beat a mid table fourth division side and not look remotely like they could. At home. Off the back of a horrendous run stretching over two seasons. It doesn't get much of any lower than that. Trust me.

Northampton under RH surely?

Again it proves how short term memory football fans have. Liverpool with Hodgson were atrocious, not talking about results but about performances. Liverpool team used to play so deeper and if they dropped any deeper they would have been behind goal posts.

Looks like Rodgers time is up but this is no where comparable to Hodgson time, just like how Moyes time can't be compared with Van Gaal even though results are more or less same.

**** of a lot stronger side out last night than what he put out against Northampton.

I honestly didn't think that could be topped, but even though we won the shoot-out last night as opposed to losing it against Northampton, the feeling last night was worse.

There was £180 million or so on the fired last night. Northampton the likes of N'gog, Spearing, Pacheco, Kelly and Wilson all played.

Both were an absolute disgrace but I'd put Carlisle above even that when you take everything into consideration.

And as bad and as horrid as Roy's brand of football was to watch, at least there was a plan and structure behind it and up until the very end we had players on the park that could stand up and fight and get results.

Now, we have absolutely nothing. No pattern of play. No structure. No movement. No creativity. No passion. No fight. Nothing.

Both regimes are wholly comparable. We've had one roller coaster great season where we had an identity under Brendan. And pretty much utter ***** the other 2 and bit years where we haven't had.

Doubt it'll be a draw to be honest. Unlike Newcastle Utd we can normally dispatch of lesser clubs than us .....

I don't know anyone not expecting a licking at Everton.

The Derby's the Derby and usually a great leveller where ANYTHING can happen on the day. But there's absolutely ZERO fight in this team right now. From anyone.

You're not matching Everton's passion and commitment, you may as well not turn up.

If he's not gone before. that could well be the tipping point. It's fixing to be REAL ugly.

Dont worry everton will bottle it for sure they always do against us.

If we lose our next two games, I'd wager Rodgers isn't even in charge come the derby. But if we grab a point or three in those two games, I don't think it'll help him anyway if we lose to Everton. And I can't see us avoiding a loss away at Goodison in our current form and condition. What local lad is gonna rile up the players in the dressing room? Flanagan?

Hmmmm. I like Brendan Rodgers-as a person from what I've seen. But time is running out have to agree with that. It's just gone horribly wrong. I've seen it happen at other clubs-and somehow they've turned it around but looking at things at Anfield I just don't see where the inspiration is going to come from.

That being said-like you said anything can happen. I simply refuse to predict an outcome. It can come down to a piece of sheer brilliance in a split second from any player on that pitch that could result in a win. And if it came from a Liverpool player-it could-COULD-kickstart things.

It's all ifs and buts though. Injuries happen, officials have a mare-clubs change managers. Even an illness to a key player. Just a shame to see a club like Liverpool going through all this. When the transfer window was open I had them higher than where they are now. Same with Chelsea. Both clubs now under enormous pressure

You know before the game last night, between 11 friends in the pub, a cross section of ages, someone asked a simple question that if you could guarantee Rodgers would be sacked and whomever you wanted take over, would you take a defeat in the Derby? And the majority answer was we would. The only one's struggling were conflicted by losing to them.

For 11 born and bred Liverpudlians who've been through the highest of highs and lowest of lows with this club to even contemplate losing to Everton and having to endure their ***** until the next time we play them on a daily basis says it all about just how bad the situation is and how low everyones spirits are.

Eessh that bad eh?. I just try and forget all about him and focus on the good group of players the new manager will inherit. Otherwise thinking about the orange conman and the money he wasted makes me well ****** of.

For me RH was so, so, so much worse. I remember in the seasons running up to RH taking over, I would watch hours and hours of football a week. Rafa's last season for us as an example, I watched all of Dortmund's matches, all of Juventus' televised matches, all of Barca's matches, good amount of Bayern's/Real Madrid's and every Bundisliga/LaLiga/Serie A review show. On top of every Liverpool match and probably all the big Prem games with the occasional smaller match thrown in.

After a while under RH, I stopped pretty much all of that. All I would do is watch Liverpool then be done with football until our next match. It was truly horrific, bad manager, bad players, no money, bad owners, administration. Totally ruined football. I have nothing like that under BR.
