Wouldn't go as far as 'booming', but it was a WHOLE lot better than it has been.

Another major difference last night. Belief was back that this will now turn.

Frustrating but far from maddening.

I may disagree with a few things but the fanbase is back to being fully behind the team... Over the top or not, it is a lot better than 7000 empty seats in the last Europa game

that was one of the first things i noticed half of the main stand was empty last time

Now you're missing the point.

There's noticeable differences and hope under Klopp. There never was the last year or so under Rodgers. We know the work that needs doing. But with key players out, mediocrity with the rest, and a whole mindset needing changing, last night felt nottin' like the last time against Sion. The attitude of the players was good. We just lacked the needed quality which will come.

Previous, that attitude and organisation seen the first two wasn't there.

Nobody is suggesting last night was great. But the vast majority aren't too despondent when you take everything into consideration and what differences we've seen in the side.

All in stages.

Thats exactly my point. If that was under BR, there would be meltdown. Because its under Klopp, you're more optimistic and you hope he'll turn things around. Mike is writing under somewhat neutral opinion. But that neutral opinion sounfs pessimistic for you guys now. I bet it would be seen as optimistic if BR was still around.

i think the biggest thing people forget is klopp has had 2 week rodgers had 3 seasons, its going to take time to build his team because it would be interesting how many players we have will still be there in 2 seasons time

Hopefully Klopp can stop this trend of our best players leaving, because it has happened for far too many years. How is any manager supposed to improve the side when the best players are leaving almost every summer

Hopefully Klopp can stop this trend of our best players leaving, because it has happened for far too many years. How is any manager supposed to improve the side when the best players are leaving almost every summer

tbh there not an lot you can do though other than winning trophies. as we all know thats why suarez left, someone who has always wanted to play for liverpool left because of that. and buying better quality of players which i think we can attract now more people would want to play for klopp than rodgers

I hope that's the case because similar happened under Benitez and Rodgers in terms of building a team that look's capable of challenging and then the key players got sold

an tbh that proves my point other than alonso who rafa messed up all would have stayed if we were winning trophies.

But it's not the same. There's been noticeable differences already and the attitude of the players was way better than it was against Sion the last time.

If there hadn't been that, and it was just as flat with no change, people would be down on the first two games now. Again, it's not been brilliant football by any stretch. But it's been far better attitude and commitment and there's been noticeable differences in approach and organisation in a very short space of time. That's why you aren't overly concerned with the attacking side as you know it will come when the better players return and the longer they all work together.

The hopes there for a reason that never was as we're slowly beginning to see on the field so it's a tad misleading to compare the 2 and say the reaction would be different under Rodgers.

Oh, that goes without question.

It was just in relation to lat nights atmosphere that was way better than it has been but still a little flat. But there was no real angry frustration shouts and people weren't totally down at the end by any means.

Just frustrated at what we currently have to work with.

I can understand though why Liverpool fans are excited considering the job Klopp did at Dortmund but I'm sure if ManUtd employed Klopp you would have posted about quality of PL and all that, how it's so tough here than in Bundesliga.

on a better note the crowd was booming last night even after ruben scored the chants kept coming

Rubin scored and ran of celebrating. Then we had one of the loudest chants of the night with our Liverrrpooool Livverrpooool LIVVVVVERRRPOOOL. A personal favorite of mine. Was a proud moment.

Just a tip to other supports, not specifically aiming it at anyone (I lie I'm aiming it at United, Chelsea, Arsenal god they're the worst) that's how you support your team when they go behind.
