Everyday I love you more and more. :D

So Joe what do you know?

Sorry for the wait, I just wanted to build tension. The masses have been growing unruly during the delay. Many have probably been refreshing the page every minute since 6am hungry for the most important opinion and analysis available since Michael Owen's last night.

So....

Was alright.

Sorry, I'm a bit of noobie when it comes to Van Gaal, what happened in 2003?

He was sacked in Jan but before that he won 10/10 games in CL including third qualifying round.

LOL. We're spreading the love around this AM, so ..... I love yer Joe man. (In a purely platonic, brotherly, manly way ha ha.).

And in 09/10 season, he could easily have won CL but both Robben and Ribery were injured for finals if I am not wrong

Jose's team were amazing, not playing free flowing football but the way the team united and battled on the pitch was just brilliant. Bayern dominated but Milito was too to handle that season scoring in all the finals and also in big games.

Nevermind though, he doesn't belong in Elite category like Klopp.

Haha for real though I only got to see the first half.

I thought Firmino was putting himself about well, bit more composure for that shot he had wide would have been good. Should at least be forcing a save but he worked hard.

Ibe looked lively and it's the first time I've really had a look at him. I see he scored in the second half so hopefully that gives him confidence. He was always looking to go forward with the ball. Having Clyne putting in a shift behind him helped,
everything seemed to come down the right side of what I watched.

Liverpool fan in the pub was moaning that Sakho was playing ahah. I thought he looked really good.

Mignolet managed to have a half not even you can begrudge him of Scouse! (because he had nothing to do!) So give Simon some credit ;)

Firming's getting better the more he settles into that roll. Two assists in two games now. What stands out between him and Phil is he's so strong to knock off the ball and puts himself about well. Whereas Phil never has bulked up but let's his quick feet give him the edge. When everything's really flowing a three of Coutinho, Firmino, Ibe or Sturridge more inverted playing close to/ off Benteke with Can and Henderson behind and Clyne and Moreno on the outside is a real exciting attacking prospect.

Don't know why he'd choose to nark at Sakho. He was a rock again and even Lovren looked solid alongside him. Not that they had much defensive work to do like being as the pressing game was working so well up the other end.

Ibe was man of the match. Ridiculous personal stats as well as a great goal which just emphasised what we saw. Amazing what letting him attack and play his natural game does for confidence as opposed to having him play backwards as a wingback huh? Still stick to it he'll be one of the best young players this season league wide the more experience and game time he gets.

(Whispers quietly Mingolet dropped the only frigging catch he had to make all game.).

All last night lacked was more goals which will come. But that was one of the best and most enjoyable European aways, and 1-0 wins, in a long time.

Haha pushing it now Sunil, Scouse has repeatedly said Mourinho is top 3 managers in the world (with Pep and Ancelotti)

That was not about Jose. Van Gaal ;)

Lol fair enough, looked very much like it was about Jose seeing how the whole first paragraph was about him and then in the next paragraph writing "he".

Will let you off though ;)

Yeah, when I re-read, it sounded like about Jose but it's about Van Gaal. Alcaraz was talking about Van Gaal and about finals, I was just adding how tough opponents Jose' inter were.

No he isn't getting away with it this time! He still managed to completely ******* drop the most simplest of crosses with no challenge. Could've ended badly had the ball bounced away in another direction.

Useless. My nan could've caught it, and she's dead.

Guys, guys.

"When was the last time we beat two Russian clubs away in a row?"

Half reaching here but I'm gonna' say Vladikavkaz (ask me about that one day. The Vladikavkaz 38. In a war zone. Protected by Russian troops. Players fighting on the plane. It was a trip) and then one of the Moscow clubs when Owen bagged a hat-trick? Played on one of the other clubs grounds just for added novelty ha ha.

...not a bad memory Sir.

Just read it was our first away win in Europe for 3 years.

Frigging Rodgers.

Who was the Moscow club? Lokomotiv? Dynamo? Drawing a blank but it was moved to a small, shity ground. Think for ice.
