Aye, I'm a big fan of Butland. He's a bit unpredictable but you can tell that's just him trying to leave his mark on that Stoke Defense; Begovic is a tough act to follow and he's doing very well for himself. He could cost us a fortune though
 
Should of got Butland when he was at Birmingham. He was showing massively there.

Now the price is gonna' be REAL high for a 'keeper. Can't see them selling in January with the lge cup semi's.

How we spent 3 years reasoning Mingolet was the answer ..... sighs.

We've just been discussing that. IF true, the only possible logic I can see in it is safeguarding us for a fee. But then that only works if he signs on the same terms or less which isn't happening.

Just can't see it. Kloop's having to talk him up as he's all he has. But he's not stupid.

He won't be here next year.

Hope you're right.. The only way it's good news is if he is happy to be a back-up, but that is very unlikely to happen
 
NOT liking this side BTW. Firmino shouldn't be ANYWHERE near the squad, never mind the team at the minute. Bang out of form and just strolling around the pitch. A complete, lazy passenger. Love Origi getting his chance, but not on his own. Needed Benteke in there. Presume we'll be interchanging because Can as the DM is a BAD idea. No discipline and can't defend to save his life.
 
Been feeling we'd batter them all week but with that personnel and 1 up front at home again .....

I'm hoping Lovren and Sakho create some randomly amazing partnership today, worried though if Sakho dwells on the ball today and with the pace of Vardy, things could be messy! 1-0 to us in going for though
 
Another slip-up from United, let's hope there is not another slip-up from us to follow it... However, I am not exactly confident today
 
I'm far too scared to even begin making predictions about this game :P I'm just glad Mignolet is back in goal (*Shudders* didn't enjoy saying that) after Bogdan's howler last game.

The worry is if Sakho has been rushed back to fitness because before his injury he was outstanding.

Today, so far and against Watford he was very poor

Origi was playing very well before going off, but the system and the personnel does suit a player like Origi rather than Benteke

Aye, I agree. But even in the areas where Benteke would have good instincts; crosses, drawing defenders away, ect. He doesn't look switched on.
