Then stop talking like he is wordl class striker. Dont get it. I understand u cant talk very bad about players. Also being new manager. But still backing up and talking lies is not the right way to.
I think 15mil and he is gone in summer.

Even without looking at the game i knew he was praising wrongly.
Was this directed at Scouse or.....?

YW bud. Getting little done today. This IS exciting news lol.

From knowing absolutely jack about him, I'm all Alexed out from reading and watching haha.

tbh im in the same boat dont know alot about him but whenever we seem to spend big money on someone they never seem to be worth the money at the minute firmino is still hit and miss, benteke well wrong player for the style i think the last big signing which worked out was suarez and before that torres i just wish we would invest in a striker like that fast can dribble someone who will excite you not more AM, easier said that done but we can dream

I presume it's down to who we want, who's currently available out of that without talking stupid January money, and who's the best solution to add some much needed goals right here, right now and who will be an integral part of the first XI going forward.

I would anticipate we'll be going all in on a major striker this summer who can be relied on to lead the line and score goals.

Realistically, presuming Benteke is moved on as everything points to, we have one top draw striker who still has a MAJOR question mark over his health; one good centre-forward we know can do well at this level and whom is still young enough to mould and develop in Ings; and the young prospect in Origi who is finally beginning to justify the hype the more experience he gets. And that's it. We've some very good prospects who look like they'll be very good back-up squad players next year who'll play the cups coming through but absolutely nothing in the striking ranks. Sinclair could of been that man but after being left on the bench Wednesday and getting a VERY public callout from his manager over wanting too much, too soon, following on from turning down the contract; you havre to think he's f-ed himself and is done as regards ever playing the first team again.

So at least one striker, not least a top one, is definitely a priority I agree. But I'd honestly rather wait until we can get someone who we really want. If that means the summer, so be it. If we do sort out Texeira, and they seem pretty confident they will, then hopefully he can add enough goals to ignite things. We start adding them, and that fourth spot is still there for the taking yet.

A squad that needs an overhaul. Absolutely no guarantee they'll be straight back up the very top end of the table next year. If they're still in the top division. They have deep set problems.

If we're talking Arsenal or City it would be another thing again. But I just don't see Chelsea's prospects being any brighter going forward than ourselves at all.

Imperative we win today. Put a run of wins together and the top 4 comes flying back into play. Continue to drop points and the league season peter's out to what most pundits expected last summer.

Funny, for a ground we've not lost at since 1993, playing a very poor team quite possibly heading back from where they came; nobody's got much confidence we're demo gonna' win down to the fact we can't score for ****. Be nice to just do our jobs and roll over a team we should comfortably. Get back to what it should be at places like Norwich. Not are L'pool going to win today. But by how many are L'pool going to win today.

I doubt we start like this, but I'd love to see 2 wingers out there with Ojo given his head. Wouldn't even mind Texeira run out. Or Allen played further forward as he has been of late to great effect. He certainly deserves to start on form alone. Leaving out the likes of the hard working but completely ineffective Lallana and Milner. And if he's upto speed fitness wise, Caulker out there. His arial ability might well work wonders back there.

Start of a MASSIVE week in league and both cups. Let's start it the right way boys and comfortably beat a team we should for once.

Ugh. Lucas, Can, Milner all in the same team again and Ojo not even on the bench. All good, hard working players. (Can having the potential and talent to develop into a fine midfielder. But he's a LONG ways to go yet.). But not much of anything at the business end of the park. Least Lallana's not making that unproductive group into a 4.

I see Milner is "running his socks off" again. MoM I tell you

I cannot wait for this season to finish and we're not even through January

We could well be in a final in three days. There's still the cups to save the year. One things for sure, Teixera can't be signed soon enough.

Absolutely pathetic half of football. And thats being polite. TOTALLY unacceptable to be so lack lustre and effortless. Losing to garbage like this is beyond the pale. Just nothing. Needs a MASSIVE change halftime. I'd get Flanno, Caulker and Teixera on.

Disgraceful. Sort it out half time Jürgen lad because this, injuries and ***** players excepted, is still totally inexcusable for Liverpool Football Club.

Cups are a great distraction but we are reminded each week of the shithousery in the league... It's beginning to take it's toll! haha!

It's not Klopp's team but there is little to no game plan most games and the performances have been terrible more times than not. We are on for our worst ever league finish at this rate which would be unbelievable

I'd be looking at a double change for the second half... Allen/Teixeira and Benteke need bringing on sooner rather than later
