No idea what the paper is like, sorry, it was just Carragher's article so I read it

A draw against Leicester would have been an excellent result. I think that we should be in a position where we can expect to beat them, but we're not in that position right now.

And Mahrez has been the most effective player in the league this season, though a fit Aguero is still the best

Funny thing is, we dominated against them at home - and they have the best away record in the league.

Even at the King Power, we were in control for large periods and it was an almost wondergoal that separated the sides in the end. Leicester have been fantastic, but I do think it highlights more the drop off in standard in the Premier League

Appreciated ta. Just curious on your views.

And don't sweat it on the Mail. I can't be bothered with it because it's general agenda is so far right it's not even funny. A completely Nationalistic, xenophobic and racist line often masked by playing on the 'poor little hard done to Englander' card to grab peoples emotions. Commonly known as 'The Daily Third Reich' ..... you get the picture.

But no need to apologise for putting up a sporting link mate. That's just the reason why I tend to personally swerve it.

Surprised more teams haven't used that simple blue print from boxing day to try nullify them.

Match up formation wise. Put then under immense pressure at the back. Drop off to nullify the space when they launch it to Vardy. Even Kante looked distinctly average that game against our woeful midfield as they just couldn't cope with the same amount of work rate as theirselves.

I remember Craig Bellamy saying how different it is playing for a mid-table side and then making the jump up to a supposed bigger club.

Teams play differently against you and that is the same with 'smaller' sides playing above expectations. Was Leicester to maintain this over next season, teams would set-up differently to counteract that just like they do against the likes of City, Arsenal etc.

He said all of a sudden teams are in two banks of four with little or no space for you to operate, where as playing for a smaller club you had alot more space.

Just look at the City game - they played perfectly into the hands of City because their biggest strength is the counter attack

If I'd known that I would have avoided it too, can't stand right wing supremacists. It's like with the S*n, I had no idea until I read about it on here. Don't really know too much about English papers over here in Australia :P

Which 3-4 clubs are you referring to? The only clubs who have been extravagant with their spending in recent times have been United and perhaps City

It makes absolutely no sense why you'd go out and appoint one of the top managers in the World and then stick to your frugal policy. Unless that was just another cosmetic touch to the fans and a piece in preparation for selling at it's highest when the new stand opens the start of next year with the added TV money.

And talking of our greedy *** American owners .....

I'd LOVE to be a fly on the wall in FSG's offices the next few days. Saturday must of REALLY rocked them. To think we could mobilise 15,000 to walk in 2/3 short days. And it coming from ALL over the ground. In traditional areas where before NOBODY would of left. That must of REALLY shook Ayre to see main standers around him leaving in droves. They must be thinking we can do that at such short notice, what are they going to do the next protest? And the ones after? To have them even discussing this already is testament enough to honestly one of my proudest days as a Liverpudlian at Anfield. The spirit and togetherness Saturday was VERY special. And a real shot in the eye for everyone who naively said it was a waste of time and wrong. (Some of the social media comments the weekend have been appalling.).

Hopefully, other clubs support will look at this and think if we can make such a stand with such short notice, they can too.

Over to you Boston.

You've picked the wrong fan base and the wrong City to **** with.

The Chelsea and arsenal wages are miles away from ours also.

It was more a throwaway comment than one without real thought or research, but United and City are the obvious two.

Chelsea are more than capable, but it balances out with your incredible record of selling average-good players for crazy money.

Wage is a big factor also. At one point this summer Liverpool had one player over 100k a week - It's no wonder we are struggling to attract the top players

Don't let combined wages fool you. Utd, City and Chelsea will think nothing of dropping upwards of £200 grand a week or more if it meant securing a player they wanted from one of their rivals. Individually, we still rarely go to anything like that. (As absolutely abhorrent as those wages are. They are what they are sadly.).

Arsenal are the same. They're still capping off their wages at £140 K a week. Which in principle is brilliant and should be MORE than enough for anyone to say the least. But it pails in comparison when other clubs will add another 40 odd percent to that.

Markovic is in Istanbul at Fenerbahce and can't be recalled this year.

Doesn't mean anything yet. Henry has probably just told the PR team to announce there have been meetings when they really don't give a ****.

They were telling SOS the same for ages. "Meetings on-going" but SOS have denied that they have had any say over the prices.

Naturally. But the mere fact they're talking about it, even if it is just fluff and they initially do little/ nothing, is brilliant in itself.

They'd of been rocked by the sheer scale of the walkout Saturday mate. Not least that a lot people you'd NEVER of expected leaving left. 15,000 or so was beyond ANYONE'S wildest dreams and the media coverage has been fantastic. If we can mobilise that in a few days, what will the next be like? And the one after that?

Really feels like the start of something again and so proud we're yet again being the ones to stand up and lead the way.
 
i was just wondering if there was anyone here who is going to wembley? if so just wondering how your getting there just after some advice on how to get there
