It's Simon mingolet's birthday today so I'm sure you all want to leave him some happy birthday messages and maybe your best memory of him

Firmino hattrick tomorrow please captained him and did not get aguero. So would really help me fantasy football wise seeing as every man and his dog captained aguero.

Hopefully. One of, if not the most in form player the league thus far in 2016. Here's to it continuing today for us both.

.... Can't wait for the match later.....

Need to lay the Palace bogey to rest today. We owe these twats going right back the semi we never should of lost in '90. Over recent years they've become a bigger thorn in our side than frigging Wimbledon used to be. Need to take Wednesday's fantastic performance on and batter a team we should. Palace are absolutely woeful. 2 points out of the last 15. 4 straight home defeats. That clown Pardew's their figging manager for Pete's sake. NO excuses for not winning and winning well today.

And the signs are we will. Everyone's on a high after City. Add in the fact that not only are we getting key players back, but that now the League Cup's done and we're (albeit disappointingly) out of the FA Cup, Klopp's FINALLY getting to both work with them on the training ground (now we've not got the busiest schedule in Europe we had for so long right through the Chrimbo period and aren't just resting up between games every 3 days); and he's got decent options to manage the squad from.

And as we've seen, he learns REAL quick the second team he plays a side so I foresee it being completely different to Anfield. Talking of, he has a personal score to settle there so he should have us up for this more than he normally does:

Keep it going Red Men. Win the games in hand and both Arsenal and City are suddenly looking nervously over their shoulders for 3rd and 4th.

Happy Birthday Simon. Here's to the perfect present and a clean sheet and three points at Palace to celebrate.

*Best memory still to come as he's not left the club yet. ;).

Would of preferred Smith for Moreno, but like how we can now manage the FB's. Moreno rested Wednesday. Clyne, who badly needs a break, today. And with Flanno not in the Europa Squad, with no game for him until the 20th, always thought he'd play again today. Good management of Sturridge's rehab going on too. Have him fresh and raring to go for the mammoth European tie against those ****s. Origi has deserved another start. Strong looking bench if need be.

reporter: "thank you for your time Jurgen"

Klopp: "No Problem, I have nothing better to do"

I love this guy

Not the best of a half,I hope some subs will help us play better.

I can't even remember the last time we score from a corner.

Yeah, defo bring Phil on sooner rather than later to create and open things up. Solid, if totally unspectacular half. Need to up things greatly second half.

Mighty Reds.

WTF were both Firmino and Lallana doing on the goal? Completely **** out of blocking that.

Sort it out reds. This is embarrassing!

Ahh The Bi-seasonal embarrassment against Palace coming up once again

Again 0 shots on goal.

Well you can say goodbye to any dwindling hope you had of recovering this PL season and put all your eggs in the Europa League basket at least. (Which they pretty much were anyway).

Unless you have some kind of miraculous comeback here.

So not like Milner to do something so mindless. What was he thinking.

Palace will start getting nervous though if it stays 1-0 a good while. Should use that to Liverpools advantage

And there you go.

Crystal Palace. The gift that keeps on giving
