Interesting lineup.

To say the least. Ward given a chance, Bogdan is surely finished. Randall chosen ahead of Flanno, didn't see that one coming. Skrtel not even in the squad, definitely moved on in the summer. Attack looks strong though, remains to see if that inexperienced defense (Ward, Randall, Smith) will pass the test.

We are starting to score from set pieces. The world end is near.

Great half, apart from a few frantic moments in defense. Ibe has done well, and goal + assist for Sturridge is great for his confidence. Stewart has made a few mistakes, but hopefully we can get the third as Bournemouth will have to push higher up. Place your bets, mine's on Ojo!

On this day mac goal vs Everton

My favourite moment of the second treble winning season. The emotions that Easter Monday derby after we thought we'd lost fourth with the loss to Leeds at home good Friday. Then beating Barcelona with young Reina in nets the Thursday the UEFA semi with another Gary Mac goal. But that derby man ......

Great half from the under 5's haha.

Complete control with the addition of two real good goals. Great back heal from Sturridge for Firmino's opener and a great header from an even better delivery from Ibe for the second. Both wingers been fantastic. Ojo impressing more and more and Ibe's been the best player on the park for me thus far. Ward look's solid despite having little to do. And the Welsh Xavi/ Pirlo/ whoever he's going as today running midfield. Great to see his form continuing now we have Can and Hendo out.

Keep it going second half Red Men. Same again.

Really cant understand playing randell think hes no where near good enough. Wheres flanno is he injured?

Why don't you play like that for the national team, Josh? What's that, because the rest of the team is ***** you say? Fair enough.

Good, solid, professional performance from the under 5's and co.

Got a bit sloppy last quarter, but Sturridge could and should of had 4 by that point. Ibe and Ojo again fantastic.Smith another good outing at LB. Another good 90 minutes for Daniel. Looking stronger and sharper by the game. Allen bossing midfield. And a real solid debut from Ward bar the flap at the end that lead to a real good goal from Bournemouth.

Perfect end to a fantastic week that set's things up nicely now for the biggie Thursday against the blue ****e.

Up the Pool. Mighty Reds!

*Edit* Wednesday even haha.

Agreed with all except Smith. I think he was sloppy going forward, his crosses were mostly poor, and his defending wasn't reassuring either. Not terrible by any means, just not very good either. Still the better of the two full backs, then again has Randall ever impressed much? Not me anyway.
