2 more wins. 2 more wins to kick-off what’s fixing to be the biggest party this City has ever seen.

Title Countdown:
23 wins down/ 6 to go.
76 points down/ 16 to go.
Current unbeaten home PL run:
P 14 W 12 D 2 F 32 A 11 CS: 5
6 Straight Wins.
Never mind the last 5 years PL Champions total wins/ points average as it’s taken from, the seasons ‘
Title Countdown’ should now read 2 wins/ 6 points to go. 2 more wins needed to clinch the title with 4 games to spare. A humongous 13 points clear. A time for every Liverpudlian to not have a care in the World as we buzz off our phenomenal football team.
And yet …..
As I caught up with things on line last night, you’d think we were United down the bottom, coming off another embarrassing doing, and
NOT the best side in the Country by a considerable distance having just won again to bring the tittle that little bit closer.

One of the most repeated things from the on-line sheep appears to be that we are in terrible form and it’s only our first half of the season that is seeing us home.

Let’s dispel that nonsense …..
In 2025, we have the best form of any PL side through 15 games. And when you compare the start of the season though Christmas, to January up until now, there really isn’t much of any difference at all-
2024
August to the end of the year-
P 17 W 13 D 3 L 1 F 40 A 17 PTS 42 CS: 7
2025
January through present-
P 15 W 10 D 4 L 1 F 34 A 14 PTS 34 CS: 6
Win the next 2, and it’s 1 win from being an identical record! But we are in horrendous form and are lucky we were so good early!

Moral: Ask the question yourself instead of repeating the white noise bunkum aimed to unsettle you on-line.
And why in the World do people get so bent out of shape with performances in a title run-in?

You don’t get anything extra for style yanno’. I’ve been exceptionally fortunate enough to see my team lift the league 6 times in the flesh. And the amount of games we didn’t play great in, but did enough to make sure we got the points, was often.
ALL that matters in a run-in is putting more points on the board than the teams below you. And this gang of superb Reds consistently do that to levels nobody in the PL can remotely come close to matching. As we’ve deciphered above with having the best form in the Country this calendar year. Yet people are vainly trying to spin that into some sort of negative that will do for us next season!

Funny game that. L’pool were super the first-half and should have gone in 2/3 up. Then it was like someone turned the off switch at half-time and L’pool were proper abysmal for 40 minutes. Then Virgil gifts them an equalizer that had been coming, and suddenly the power is switched back on and we have 5 exhilarating minutes that could have had us 1 or 2 in front again before the captains winner. 5 minutes that set us apart from any other club on and off the pitch. Arsenal fans for one would have been heading for the exits at 1-1. Narking to anyone who would listen. We just ramped the atmosphere up to its highest. And the mentality monsters in red responded in kind with the match winning moment. Neigh, the TITLE winning moment everyone has so craved.
Over the past few games, the let offs at the match have been epic! It proper went off Jota’s winner the Derby. The 10 minutes or whatever it was after AllyMacs belter at Fulham, until they leveled, was the best r end has been all season long. Anywhere. And yesterday, the noise and belief that we would win after West Ham equalized was a joy to be a part of. I’m sure the Kop roof lifted when the big man bagged the winner.
PROPER let off that makes
EVERYTHING worth while. Moments and memories that money just can’t buy that last a lifetime. Why you make the sacrifices you do to support them. The very essence of what being a supporter is
ALL about.
And the manager and players knew it too as they, for the first time, proper let it all pour out the final whistle and celebrated like they’d just won the league. Just imagine how even more special it will be when it is finally confirmed?

Then Palace when we get to share with them what was so cruelly denied us under Jurgen in ‘19/‘20.

Another superb day out at the match watching the best in class find a way to win the football weekend yet again.
Kudos to West Ham for the perfect silence. Greatly appreciated. To then sing about people being out of work and social deprivation, not so much.
Up the ‘
It’s SO close, we can now touch it!’ special, SPECIAL Redmen!
