Massive that they have persuaded him to stay as they project him to be even better than Rio, but £50 k P/W for a 15-year-old ….. How can this continue to be so unregulated?
Thats for the other clubs who were offering him that. Also the wage kicks in when they sign their pro deal at 17. If I recall correctly we have a wage cap for our youth that we dont exceed. Regardless, so glad he signed as he is part of Trents brother agency and was getting shopped around.

I know it’s for the first-pro contract, but City offering that is obscene.

There seriously needs to be regulation on this.

🚨 Liverpool’s 16-Year-old Vincent Joseph looks set to leave as he is left off Liverpool’s announcement of scholars.

#LFC Sources close to TSS claim Manchester United hold strong interest, whilst Bayern and Dortmund have also sent scouts on multiple occasions to watch. #mufc #bayern #dortmundInteresting to see where he ends up.

Not many top number 9s around. He will be in demand 💥 Soon

Give me both ta. 🤞🏻🤞🏻
Barcola just gives me a classic all pace zero end product mould of a winger we've seen a million times before. Just think there's better value in the market, surely? I know the LW market is abysmal right now, but Barcola isn't the answer imo.

Don’t even need to waste money on a LW especially one for big money like Barcola. You already have Gakpo who is class and Gio who could be a star

No two better wide fits for what we want to transition into on the, admittedly thin at the top end, winger market this summer IMHO. But regardless …..

Very impressive opening.

He couldn't be any more Basque if he tried unless he was wearing a beret in that interview.

You’ll do for us kid.

🚨🧨 EXCLUSIVE DETAILS | Rio Ngumoha was the secret candidate FC Bayern have been negotiating with for weeks. Bayern have reached a full verbal agreement with Ngumoha and his camp on Tuesday, 26 May. #LFC
I am the few I feel with the opinion that he isn't even ready for first team football let alone a move abroad. He is so incredibly raw and got overhyped to an extent because Gakpo had a stinker of a season and he was the only winger we had that was direct.

He needs coaching and being nurtured because right now he is all flash and zero end product. I don't even consider him as back up for the LW position that's how raw he is for me.

He’s barely turned 17 man and is already WAY ahead of his development curve. (If there’s a better teenage prospect in English football right now I’d like to know of him? 🤷‍♂️). A consistent end product will only come with experience.

Anyway, MOTM on his full England debut last night. All of which is only adding to his development being out there training with the WC squad. Invaluable development experience that.

He’ll play a massive part next season the stronger and more experienced he gets.

This is informative from the always excellent, on all things Munich, Bayern Space, on Rio and just how far down the football pecking order Bayern actually are-

He is way ahead of the curve in the things that he is naturally great at. The quick feet, the burst of acceleration and a great shot. However, for way ahead of the curve at his age is Owen, God himself, and to compare another winger Sterling (He's decision making and end product was so far ahead). Thats the standards for me for a player that can be consistently part of the first team and contribute.

Right now even watching him last night its all flash no end product which of course will come with age but all I'm saying is we have to temper expectations because he's comparison right now is last season which we all want to forget. He needs serious coaching and work on what to do off the ball etc. Which no doubt Iraola and his staff will drill into him. For me he still plays like a youth player with no expectations and that will change this season and he needs to be managed not thrown in the deep end as the main back up. He isn't ready for that yet imo.

Edit: I dont like reading that article he's representatives need to remember he is only 17 and hasn't even matured into his grown man body yet. He needs to be integrated slowly. Don't like that one bit.

Sterling? The heck he was at this point. It was only the second half of his third season that it really started to come together.

He was no different before that experience to Rio now.
