Not only is the winger market non-existent and the drop off from Diomande and Barcola to anyone else is massive, which plays into the selling clubs hands. It’s divvies like Utd and Arsenal, with the likes of Anthony and Mandueke, who have massively over inflated it.

You now either have to pay over the odds for top tier talent. Or you settle. One thing FSG have consistently shown, is they don’t ’settle.’

I’ve seen loads of match highlights the odd match and the vids of him. As you said he’s 19 so you’re going to get them inconstancies but they are there.

You’re buying what will likely be the 5/6 most expensive ever transfer to replace the World Class Mo Salah. Which there’s just as much chance of it not working out than working out. The pressure on him and the club for it to work out will be huge.

It’s a big summer for Liverpool imo in the market. Despite all the reasons you wanna list for last seasons fall off. The transfers were massively disappointing for the money spent. Hopefully this season those same players show there worth or it’s gonna be a massive failure on the recruitment side of the operation. IMO after last season you can’t get another 100m plus transfer wrong.
 
Only a fool would say they got last summers record signings wrong. After 1 season. And the most non-typical season with everything involved at that.

To judge any L’poo player come to that, off last year, is complete folly.

I think every man and his dog knows we have Diomande and it’s just when we reach the middle ground and it’s announced.

I’m more intrigued, winger wise, to see if Tottenham or anyone else offers up £70 million or so for Gakpo. Which then opens up the door for our other big want on the wing at PSG.

Diomande, Rio, Munoz, Alex, Ekitike and then Barcola.

Be one ****** frightening, young, and rapid quick, interchangeable front 6 that. Which would rival anything on the planet once more as the best group out there.

Ornstein reporting hes picked PSG which if im honest will be a massive blow. The scouts will have to pull out a left field signing from their arses because the rest of the players linked e.g Minteh are no where near the required levels. The winger market is so dearth of quality its shocking honestly. Anyway Ornstein got Slot stayin wrong so hopefully its the same.

Fabrice Hawkins broke it before Orny and he’s reliable as it gets for PSG news. Maybe they will sell Barcola now

‘If’ his is true, and I don’t get it at all unless h’s totally played them as not only they thought they had him, to put the whopper bd in, but his camp have been saying the same to any journo that asked; then they need to turn straight around and go in hard for their other main want. Barcola.

We need a right winger more than a left winger. Ive just checked Barcolo only played 8 games on the right in all comps last season compared to 30 plus on the left. Im assuming Gakpo will be kept due to his versatility and being the only senior player in the front line who can consistently stay fit. With Ekitike out for the year it makes sense to keep him. The Spanish lad and Rio can provide cover too.

Right wing is a problem and as high and insane the price was for Diomande the drop off from him compared to the rest of the targets is once again showing how poor the market is looking in terms of value for money. I still think Diomande gets done as even PSG are baulking at the insane price.

If the player wants PSG. He will end up there. That’s already weakened RB hand. Plus psg are good at structuring deals usually with crazy add ons. Plus they spent huge on transfers in the past so it’s not outside there model if it’s a player they really want. They spent nearly 100m euro on average Muani lol. Liverpool need to move on quick before any other half decent winger goes off the market also

Yeah if you can’t pry Barcola out of PSG you will be shopping in the Summerville/Bowen bargain bucket. Which is fine for a squad option but not a starter. Nusa looks good at RB but they ain’t gonna wanna sell with Yan leaving

All I see is a left winger mate if im being honest and thats one position we actually have cover for. He might have played on the right but it's not his position. Still believe we are the only ones who will pay the price for Diomande because like you said outside of him and Barcola its not really looking good...

Well Ramano and Hawkins are saying Diomande only wants PSG. And Barcola won’t be leaving and there signing another attacker to replace the just sold Ramos. Will have to see what happens. But i can’t see you guys coming out with Diomande now. As pretty much everyone is saying he’s chosen them. And will be a double blow if they keep Barcola also.
 
I don’t really see it as PSG stockpiling like a lot are complaining about as it’ll basically 6 players for 3 positions in Dembele, Kvara, Barcola, Diomande, Doue and if Ramos goes they'll buy Akliouche as PSG don’t really play with a proper centre forward anyway and they’re likely to play 60 games next season between the league, two domestic cups and Europe
