The Beginning of an Era.
Stepping off the team bus outside the San Siro was an all to familiar trait that came a long with being a professional player, But it was very weird stepping off the coach as Head Coach, I signed a few autographs and had a few pictures taken before going in. While the players warmed up I finally decided the first 11, which i had planned on having 2 days before hand. Before I knew it, It was kick off time.

An amazing way to start of the league campaign. A dominant defensive display being the highlight of the game with Palermo having no fewer the 0 clear cut chances. Another highlight of the game was Kevin Constant scoring a brace on his debut for Milan. His first came after 8 minutes with a superb solo effort running down the left wing, cutting into the box and blasting it in to the roof of the net. The game then settled and we began to play some nice football, Palermo couldn't cope with the movement of the team. Boateng doubled our lead 5 minutes after the break and we settled into a slow tempo'd short passing rhythm to kill of the game, Kevin Constant rounded off an excellent performance with a tap in from an El-Shaarway cross.

Before I knew it, I was in Switzerland to watch the Champions League group stage draw along with the president and his daughter.

The players returned from international duty and thankfully everyone was in good health, Our second match of the campaign was against Sampdoria away from home. We intended to go there and punish them straight from kick off and come home with 3 points.

Yet another dominant performance from the players. We played some nice football at times but the defending was shocking for the goal we conceded. Ricardo Montolivo opened the scoring from long range on 4 minutes after a nice build up within the defence. Bojan then got a debut goal with a typical poachers tap in from 8 yards to double our lead. We dominated play for long periods of the game but failed to capitalise on the chances we created, the next goal never came til the 85th minute to give the game a nervy ending. Davide Astori finished Sampdoria off a minute later to make it 6 points out of 6.

The following Tuesday would be the day that our Champions League campaign would get underway, Home to Manchester City would be a tough game.

An average performance from the boys and I believe we were lucky to get the point. Man City dominated the statistics and were 2-0 up within 24 minutes after a magical Sergio Aguero double sunk the guys. A stern telling off at half time inspired the guys to fight back and Kevin Constant pulled one back on 56 minutes. 8 minutes later Aguero had the chance for his hat trick and to kill the game, But thankfully put his penalty kick high and wide. Pato then equalised 2 minutes from time, it was a fine individual effort. All in all I'm pleased we got the point.

Next on the fixture list was Lazio at the San Siro, they're early season form was poor and was sure we could come away with a comfortable win.

A Montilivo double sealed a comfortable victory for the team, He scored on 7 minutes and 72 minutes. A very boring and uneventful game but we should have put 8 past them. They never had an attempt on target til the 89th minute but that was no trouble for the goalkeeper. Confidence in the camp is growing and it's a great place to be at the moment.

A very frustrating game to watch as 7 out of the 11 players were going through the motions and 4 of them where the defenders who were lackadaisical at times. Alejandro Gomez opened the scoring on 8 minutes after some poor defending from Davide Astori who mistimed his clearance and the Argentine capitalised. Kevin Constant was then brought down in the box on 42 minutes and got up to take it himself. He missed the resulting penalty but poor goalkeeping meant he could score the rebound to bring it level just before half time. An excellent response from my harsh criticism at half time ensured we would win the game more comfortably, Davide Astori rose highest to score from a Boateng corner to put us in front. We settled down and played some nice football and Pato finished the opposition off with a clinical finish from 20 yards out.

The final game of the month was probably the biggest test in the league we'd face all season, With us playing joint top and current league champions Juventus away from home.

With Kevin Prince-Boateng out inujured with a stubbed toe, we were in dier need for some flair just behind the striker, It was time for young Adryan to make his debut. He made an instant impact by scoring from 25 yards after 6 minutes. The game was being played at a frantic tempo and before you knew it Vucinic had equalised. The game was rather boring, but young Adryan scored again on what was an amazing debut. There weren't many chances and the second half was played in the midfield areas.

Overall delighted by the performances and results, especially against Juve.
Player of the month was Kevin Constant, chipping in with goals and assists from the left wing.

A very busy month lay ahead with 5 games. I expected 5 wins out of 5. I'm starting to enjoy management and the players have been fantastic, first up was a champions league match againtst Red Bull Salzburg

A very scrappy game on a freezing cold night in Austria. A feisty midfield battle was enjoyed by spectators and Adryan yet again with the winning goal after 37. We had more of the ball but the opposition made a lot of chances but failed to capitalise. Abbiati also had a blinder.

A fantastic performance from the boys who were a little jaded because of the international break. Kevin Constant was scored another double and Pazzini got his first of the season, Wonderkid El-Shaaraway opened added a third while Fiorentina scored through an Antonini own goal. This was all in an action packed first half. Fiorentina went down to ten men after Vargas lunged in on Abate. But we failed to capitalise on the extra men.

What an amazing encounter, We left it very late to clinch the victory but it was a classic. Ryan Babel got the first goal of his hat-trick after two minutes and Ajax dominated. We sat back and contained the pressure and in the 42nd minute, El-Shaaraway got his name on the scoresheet to equalise. Babel got his second in the 65 minute but Pato cancelled it out moments later after being brought on at half time. Babel got his hat trick in the 85th minute and that put my mind in doubt about getting any sort of result, De Sciglio replied on 87 minutes with a 35 yard power strike from the left hand side. 4 minutes into injury time, Pato got his second and what was the winner in a thrilling encounter. Our never say die attitude saved us in this game.

Flying straight from Amsterdam to Cagliari, We had a hard game ahead. But still expected a good performance along with the 3 points.

A very comfortable victory for us. I thought the tight park would make it more difficult but their players never seemed up for the game. Fernando got his first goal in our famous colours on the stroke of half time with a nice curled finish from outside the area. Youngster Adryan had already been sent off four a violent challenge and the appeal was thrown out by the FA. Kevin Constant scored again for Milan on 65 minutes, nice link up play between himself and Montilivo before he slid the ball past the onrushing goalkeeper. Pazzini doubled his tally for the season 2 minutes into added time.

A game in which we had 19 shots on target compared to Atalanta's one. We dominated for 90 minutes and Zapata's glancing header separated the two sides.
Very pleased 5 wins in 5 this month and sitting 6 points above Juventus who lost out to Cagliari and Pescara
Player of the month was Zapata, who has stabalised the defence, he also earned us 3 points against Atalanta

hahaha, Adryan has been great.
Robinho played 12 so far not been involved in anything really 6.28 match average. Really glad i shifted him.
