The Manchester United Thread

Bale, Ronaldo, Isco (granted he's underperformed), Modric, countless others. No offence, but that's where the "what Madrid want, they get" mentality comes from.

It's more what Perez wants, Perez gets. Hence Di Maria leaving and now conveniently they shall spout BS about how they couldn't keep him due to money as it will break their policies yet they are paying probably just as much or more for Rodriguez, Bale and Ronaldo.

Ignoring the elephant in the room, are we?
Real wanted Schweinsteriger and Lahm, Bayern refused. Yes, everyone is for sale at the right price, but if the club really don't want to sell, then you need to pay much, many, plenty $$$ to get him. Ronaldo wanted to join Real, United allowed him. Beckham was sold because he had problems with SAF, as were RVN. Real can sign De Gea, but only if United want to sell.

Ronaldo wanted to leave - boy hood fan always wanted to play for them, we even rejected Madrid the 1st time. No one else was after Isco at the time. They were the only ones after bale tbh. Modric wanted out of England and pushed for Madrid move.

Maybe, but if De Gea wanted to go it would make United in a position where they might have little choice.

Which he has not given any sign of doing. In fact quite the opposite.

Not saying he has, just weighing up the possibilities.

I personally don't think he would push to leave, he only ever speaks positive and he has a very good relationship within the club especially with players like Mata and Herrera.

Once again poor performance from RVP. Looks like he is done. Now it's not a contest at all between him and Rooney. RVP should be dropped once Rooney is back.

Yeah looks like he has had it tbh. Considering he is suppose to be fitter than ever, does not look like it. Would offload him end of this season.

Yeah. He looks slower, works less and always looks like he is tired. Hopefully Falcaa is back to full fitness.

Agree mate. Falcao starting to score now which is good, plus RVP wages would cover Falcao wages. Maybe go to 433 next season?

4-3-3 means same problem unless we offload both Rooney and RVP and play Falcao as lone striker.

Yeah Falcao scored 2 goals and made 3 assists in 4 games. His hold up play is very good too.

Yeah, and we're talking about a club that has 5 entries on the list top10 most expensive transfers in history.

I don't think it will be to big a problem if we have European football. Also can see Rooney dropping deeper next season or season after. Really is a ***** having all these top STRs :) Anyways would settle for 4 points from next 2 games.

But they didn't want to spend all the money in the world for those players.

Sure, why not. United doesn't want to sell, if Real wants him, they need to pay premium for him. And I doubt they would spend 50m for a goalkeeper.

Also, all this is ****. Media is writing just because De Gea had great game. And If I'm not mistaken, De Gea already sign new deal season or two ago.
