James was good on tour same as Lingard, more options the better!
LVG said that De Gea and Di Maria will defo be fit. And said will Carrick,Evans,Jones,Rafa,Falcao,Shaw,Rojo will all have late fitness tests.

Evans and Rafael will make a huge difference to that defense, and with Shaw playing as well as he did last time out I think we just need McNair to continue his impressive run in order to have a solid game defensively. Falcao is still out for 2 more weeks but Rooney is getting back to his scoring ways and RVP could have a great game, its Arsenal after all haha.
I would love:

GK: DDG
LB: Shaw
LCB: Evans
RCB: McNair
RB: Rafael
CDM: Carrick
LCM: Fellaini
RCM: Herrera
CAM: Di Maria
STCR: Rooney
STCL: RVP

My predicted 11 for Arsenal -

De Gea
Rafa,McNair,Smalling,Blackett
Herrera,Fellaini
Valencia,Rooney,DiMaria
RVP

4231 Don't expect him to pick anyone with knocks in the starting 11 LVG is very cautious about playing players who have not trained. Expect Carrick,Lindergaard,Wilson,Januzai,Mata,Fletcher,Thorpe on the bench.

Looks like Valencia at RB and Januzaj on the wing. Hope LVG gives Janko or Verjmil a game instead though!

A defence of janko/verjmil, smalling, mcnair and shaw/blackett against sanchez and welbeck? nah ya alrite. Valencia is solid enough.

Would like Janko maybe as a sub but to start against Arsenal is asking a lot of the lad. Valencia has actually been decent as RB so not that bothered but Rafael's link up play and unpredictability in the final third will definitely be missed. The thing with Januzaj and Di Maria as wingers is that unless someone dynamic like Herrera is in the middle to support them, we will look very one-dimensional in our approach to the game.

Waiting to see how LVG uses Herrera, Fellaini, Carrick and Mata in the middle. Maybe even Mata on the right, just can't seem to trust Januzaj in big games looking at his play this season, compared to Mata.

Don't rate Valencia at RB no positional sense what so ever. McNair,Shaw,Blackett have all been good this season not worried about them! Or Welbeck 2 gls in the league this year.

Still rather have him in our team over everyone else we have up top bar rooney.

Mata might not be a bad impact sub again but i'd much rather him start over adnan, both go missing for us in the big games but as a personal preference mata for me, playing both carrick and fellaini will be a nightmare they'll completely slow everything down for us.

Walcott ruled out and Welbeck doubtful with hamstring injury will face late fitness test. Giroud may start.

Agree that it'll slow down play, but Carrick looked impressive in his return, we need his confidence and leadership to handle that defence. Fellaini would do well as a sub if we arent able to control the game physically

LOL Arsenal are one of the softest teams in the league im not sure we have to worry about there physicality :)

Few rumours going round various journos on Twitter that LVG trained with 352 yesterday.

Smalling,McNair,Blackett
Valencia,Young
Carrick,Fellaini
DiMaria
RVP,Rooney

Expected line up if Shaw fit De Gea,Valencia,McNair,Smalling,Shaw,Carrick,Fellaini,Herrera,DiMaria,RVP,Rooney. From Steve bates all this info comes from and hes usually spot on regarding our line ups.
