Godin or Hummels. They are what I cl "first defenders" Excellent defenders in their own right, but also excellent in organising their partner and back line. Every top side needs a first defender.

Yeh and both pretty unrealistic, that's the problem, if I had a choice between them I'd choose Godin now because Hummels has been off it this season, whether you put it down to the team is a different story, but he's a big presence in it so has to take some of the blame, so I think he'd be a risk right now for the price we'd pay.

One player I've been seriously impressed with and would consider in the summer is Toby Aldeweireld.

Hummels is quite realistic, in the summer anyway. Godin wont happen because the player doesn't want to move. Aldewerield is a possibility
 
Hummels would be great either now or the summer. Have been impressed by Aldewerield this season! Was good at Ajax then dipped a bit in Spain seems to have got back to his best now though, but cant see us getting him after such a recent transfer. We won the FA Cup youth round vs Hull BTW 3-0 Gribben and Mensah were quality!
 
Hummels isn't unrealistic as he and both or one of gundogan and reus are gone in the summer, unless by some miracle they are persuaded to stay.

Both will be hard to sign, but certainly not unrealistic come summer

Midfielder wise gundogan would probably be below strootman, schniederlin, vidal and kovacic of who i'd want. I would add Pogba but wanted to name a fairly realistic bunch.

I would put him on the same level as most of them bar Kovacic and Vidal.
 
just thinking about all the players the papers are saying we could be in for messi c7 bale pogba hummels just them you would have to pay some thing close to 1b

LOL true transfer muppet stuff :) FM would be good next year :P Hummels and Pogba are gettable though.
 
Rumour going round that Graham Hunter said on some sports station that Laporte has same agent as Herrera and knows there has been contact and we could get him in Jan.
