Think STRs are good enough they have been clynical in front of goal. Its the players around them and the way were playing/formation. RVP will still get 20 gls a season with better service he is not reliant on pace and is still a class finisher. We need to sort out CM and defence in the summer.

Wingers would help also so we can actually play a proper formation instead of having a bunch of number 10's and shoehorning players into a rubbish system.

CB - Laporte and Schar/Hummels (trying to be realistic)
FB - Coleman or Clyne
Winger - Depay, Cuadrado, Reus, Turan or would take Mirallas as a cheaper option and i think Lacazette is versatile and can play out wide but he could be like cavani and hate it.
CM - Strootman and Schniederlin

ST if Falcao or rvp leave - Dybala or Lacazette since we're kinda linked.

Cant disagree with any of them names tbh. Not fused about Turan, great player but not really a winger. From what of have seen and read about Cuadrado this season seems to have dropped off from WC and would not be worth the huge fee. Unfortunately think Reus will be Madrids new toy this Summer if rumours are true:( Another CB I like is that Gimenez!

One CB from Gimenez, Laporte and Varane along with a more experienced one would be brilliant for me.

With wingers it depends we might not even need out and out ones if the tempo in the play, fluidity and movement is great then you'd just have the top 3 in a prefered 433 floating around causing all sorts of problems. But i'm unsure how rigid LVG might have a 433.
 
Think we will be in a better place next season. But still think it gonna be tough with all the changes again during this window and the Summer. Really should pick a formation now 433/442/442 diamond and just stick with it and carry it on into next season and try to get some consistency that way ready for next season. As for this season need some consistency in selection and players in natural positions.

Think 433 is the way to go as imo it's the most flexible also especially transitional from attack to defence and vice versa.
 
If we look at the potential outs and ins again it could be the same as last summer which is disrupting imo.

Think one cb, a rb and one cm might just suffice but can mata, rooney, rvp, januzaj or di maria work in a 433? not much pace or natural wingers but like i said the right and left sided of the 3 can come inside allowing the fullbacks to overlap and we might actually create in the final 3rd.

In attack it could also turn into a 4231/4213.

Yeah was talking more about the gelling of the team with so many players leaving and coming. But yeah no what your saying mate.
 
awww the other leaked home on is much worse.. the away and 3rd are a bit Bayern.

CB - Hummels + Varane/Schar/Laporte - Pick any of the three.
FB - Coleman/Clyne - Both used to the league.
WM - Reus (1st choice)/Depay (more realistic considering he is Dutch)
CM - Strootman/Vidal/Gundogan/Pogba - I do think we'll go all out for Pogba if he becomes available. When we get back into CL, he'll walk hands down into our team. Strootman+Pogba would be excellent (but costly);; Strootman + Gundogan is more realistic;;
 
Paddy McNair and Tyler Blackett have been free to talk to other clubs since January 1st and have still not been offered extensions. [bbc]
