Getting a cb and a rb in this window would be terrific but i very much doubt clyne leaves southampton now, summer maybe if they finish out of the top 4.

Yeah clyne will be tough for sure, just depends how bad we want him and if saints will refuse a big offer. But would be great if we could get them positions sorted before end of jan. Think rafa will be another one out the door in the summer on less he's happy sat on the bench.

If Rafa leaves what do we do? sign two right backs unless 352 stays and clyne/coleman and valencia are the wingbacks ******* shudder at that thought.

I know lol. From interviews Lvg has praised rafa a few times and some of his qualities so he maybe will keep him. That's what I would want him and clyne would be good rb options next season. Not sure about young and tony v, most probs keep for 1 more season as rotation/squad/injury back up.

Rafa has 18 months left tbh, it's not the biggest concern on that front. The issue isnt him, but buying a new one, since he is injured all the time.

Dragovic teammate wishes him well on transfer as Man United move hots up

However, Okotie posted a photo of himself and Dragovic post-match on Instagram with the following caption:
“Wishing you all the best, I hope your transfer happens soon, you are one of the best centre backs in Europe.”

It's ok though, some random dude on internet also wished someone else on Instagram.

Way to go with distorting things. Obviously someone posting a picture specifically saying good luck on a transfer is very very different from simply following a fellow professional in the game on social media ... Last week Messi followed Chelsea on Instagram. Their have been rumours of him moving to Chelsea after Turkish Airlines are going to sponsor us. Going by your logic, that's should be enough to convince anyone that he is moving to Chelsea

Where did I say we can't criticize him? I didn't because I have done it myself, all I am saying is patience. Stop making up words.

Which is exactly what I have been saying. I also said he deserves time but some of your fellow fans have their heads so far up his **** that they refuse to criticize him. It's to these people that I was directing my post. Not you

Christ almighty. We might as well not hire anyone else again if we sack him in a month.
No one is going to be able to achieve anything here. It's like becoming the worst of Chelsea, but with no success. If you sack a manager like LVG in a year, good luck getting anyone else.

Thats ridiculous. Plenty of excellent managers would love to manage United even if you sack LVG now

Bumper salary. World class players. Excellent facilities. Huge generally supportive fanbase. A DOF who has a fetish for buying the next big name available on the market. Oh and a healthy pay-off presumably if you do get sacked at the end

Thats more than what 99.99% of clubs in the world can offer

Agreed, we have to give time for Van Gaal. If we sack then we are back to where we were after Fergie retired. Whatever work he has done for a year and time invested is all waste of time. Again players will have to adapt to new methods and new manager might not fancy all the players.

It's better to give time than act just sack every manager.

Weird to see these kind of posts from Chelsea fans and especially from you when you think even if Jose farts that's something tactical.

No. You have to apply common sense to see what is possible and what is not.

Thats a rather arbitrary distinction. Common sense only dictates for extreme examples such as Messi. What about all the players in the middle of the spectrum? For example, if tomorrow if Reus follows Chelsea on Instagram, does that mean he is on his way to Stamford Bridge despite having so many suitors? Hard to discern this with 'common sense' right?

If tomorrow someone makes a post using who Reus follows on Instagram as a indication of which club he is going to, I would laugh him out of the room

Simply following a club or player on social media should never be used as an indicator of said players future plans. That's exactly what PA1111 pointed out. Obviously posting a pic specifically talking about a transfer is a different story. Stop conflating the two and calling others ridiculous
