The Manchester United Thread

Give it another month, see where we are, we've certainly lost a lot of points and are not in a comfortable position anymore, could be out of top 4 if it continues with the next few weeks and then it's time to really panic.

Right now he's not really doing anything which makes me think there is light at the end of the tunnel.

Christ almighty. We might as well not hire anyone else again if we sack him in a month.
No one is going to be able to achieve anything here. It's like becoming the worst of Chelsea, but with no success. If you sack a manager like LVG in a year, good luck getting anyone else.

LVG, like Moyes, has a twofold job: top 4 to go for a title and rebuild the long term future. Moyes was actually doing well on the latter, but failed on the former. But he was only sacked once it was impossible to acheive the former. Unless that happens, there shouldnt even be a whisper of it. zzeezzy you'd probably be asking for klopps head too by now. Jesus

Eyyy, asking for Klopps head is not exactly unreasonable considering they're currently facing real danger of relegation.

He's also one of zzeezzy's favoured managers.

And funnily enough, no one is asking for his head at Dortmund. They are actually hoping he doesnt walk, and to his credit he will only go if told to.

I didn't say sack him, I said give it a month and assess the situation, saying it has been dire for the last month or two wouldn't be an understatement even during the win streak we were playing poor and creating very little, scraping wins.

I don't know what he's trying to do, one day he says 3-5-2 makes him feel more comfortable the next he's back playing a 4 back formation, it can't help players constantly switching, not to mention where is the real identity of the way we play, it seems to of totally gone and he keeps playing people out of position.

Also isolating Falcao out of the squad wasn't going to help his confidence when we're supposedly looking to recapture the best of him in order to acquire him for the summer and Herrera constantly sitting on the bench despite it being glaringly obvious we lack dynamism in midfield is just something that baffles me, he was meant to be one of the highlight signings.

The facts are we spent a huge amount last summer, right now I see very little improvement if any (yes we're 4th I know, but a lot of the other teams are weaker in the way they started), I don't know what we're trying to do systematically and philosophically however he would like to put it, seems like we have no clear direction in the way we're aiming to play.

You can't tell me you're happy with hardly anything you're seeing from us on the pitch right now and if it continues for another month or two, you have to start seriously questioning, I'm sorry.

People that would choose Klopp over the real magic man Simeone is laughable.

Er no you dont have to start questioning. Especially if we are sat in the top for at that point.

That is mental short term logic.

Isolating Falcao? He dropped him for one game, after he played 5 in a row, then started him in the next!

Not logical to include a kid like Wilson in the squad when you have a predator like Falcao (available) who could of come on and actually helped us win that game where we dropped points.

You do have to question because if we continue like this for another month or two we won't be in the top 4 and that is when I said the need for panic comes, panic will cause the Glazers to take notice and then they may well act, probably give him until the end of the season but if we miss out on top 4 I think he's gone.

So, why is Januzaj such **** now? >.>

He's not, he's low on confidence, he done good things in that game yesterday which went unnoticed surprisingly, he takes risks, that is what United is all about, all this caution is part of many problems IMO.

Januzaj coming in and out of the team also doesn't help him capture form, also not to mention Di Maria isn't exactly lighting up any fires either.

You do realise 5 games in a row is more than he's played in 5 years?! He's still recovering FFS

Januzaj has done nothing to warrant a place in the team. LVG gave him a run of 6-7 games and he was dire in all of the especially his decision making. But was one of the better performers along with Rojo yesterday.

Putting him on the bench as a late minute approach if we needed him would of been a good idea, there is no one in this team more likely to ****** a winner, that says quite a lot considering Falcao is like 1/4 of how good he can be.

Looks like we are the only decent team left in the FA cup apart from Arsenal and Liverpool.

Avoid away trips to anfield, the emirates and anywhere really aha and we might get a bit of luck and see ourselves atleast in the semis.
