Herrera slipped.
That's it now!!! Contract ripped up in the morning.

"Slipping not part... of philosophy? We are work... hard... hard to not ehh? slip?"
"So??... He is gone".

Happy with the 3 points! But tbh we were lucky to get anything out of this. Smalling MOTM by a mile. Rojo and Mc Nair did a solid job at FB. Rooney invisible and Januzaj as frustrating as ever. Good peno from RVP but other than that our STRs were given nothing from our midfield, Falcao ran his socks off for nothing again. Di Maria finaly showed up after 75 mins. Felt sorry for Blind and Herrera stranded in CM alone. And Evans can just **** OFF!

Good new Saints dropped points and Spurs in this round of fixtures. I know were playing bad but we just keep grinding out results which other teams cant they either win or lose. All these draws and picked up points will make a difference at the end of the season. That's why I think we will get CL.

At some point, LVG might just work out we're playing at about 35% of our capacity, and when he does we might actually get comfortable. Herrera should start every single game, with one of Blind and Carrick, and everything else should be build to around them depending on your opposition. Today for example I would have had Rooney at 10, and Wilson in for one of Falcao/RVP. Blind, Di Maria and Herrera the triangle behind.

Who'd have thought it eh. Di Maria out wide finally starts playing kinda OK and sets up a goal and also gets a chance to use his pace down the wing, cut inside and earn a penalty. I dont know how I come up with these ideas. For my next idea, Rooney upfront :)

He wasnt out wide tbf, but left CM with the ability to drift and stay narrow. Not quite a true wide man. His favoured position. Play him through the middle and let him run where he wants and you reap the rewards. It was where he was playing when he arrived and started well. Why LVG moved him i dont know.

Think everyone is in agreement that the furthest back Rooney should be right now is 10.

I would not be bothered if both RVP and Falcao where gone in the summer. Buy Lacazette and have him Rooney and Wilson as our STRs.

Meh. Win is a win. There's a scary Fergusionian quality in how LVG keeps grinding results despite team playing like utter ****.

McNair was good again, Di Maria looked decent and Januzaj proves again that he has world class talent at being utterly useless.

Frustrating thing with Januzaj, he usually beats the 1st man then for some reason runs into the next 4 when there is an easy pass or cross on. Its like Nani Mk2 atm.

Of course he was out wide. We played 442 practically all the second half with Di Maria on the right.

I dont understand why RVP went deep though. He was practically in midfield for most of the second half.

Don't you think Cavani is a bit to old and for the money he would cost im not so sure!

He's a year younger than Falcao. Bear mind you would be looking to buy a top quality striker who consistently hammers them in, has great link play, can play on his own or with a partner and is in his peak. Your choice rapidly diminishes. And no option will be cheap.

That is true but PSG would most probs want in the region of 50m :O
