Van Gaal is a fantastic manager but he continues to confuse me with these selections.. Not sure whether its stubbornness or if he actually believes its the way forward
 
So not a single shot on goal from Rooney in 2015!! and Smalling has two goals XD
Football is broken.
 
Winning or not that was fecking embarrassing! Why are the STRs playing so wide and Januzaj going ahead of them? And why are the FBs so high up putting pressure on our CBs when we lose easy possession, were basically playing with a back 3! Least my 6-1 prediction still on :)

I think he has underestimated other teams in the league. He just thought he can play attacking line up and get away with it like he can in Spain and Germany. No other reason to field 3 strikers and play with only 1 midfielder.

Pathetic set up from him, there is no way we can control game with this set up. Need to play players in their proper positions. Burnely just raped us but somehow are not leading.

I really hope the penny drops soon with this! And starts playing the best team and players in the true positions! Its bad we have to see our best CM get injured to see our other best CM even get on the pitch :(
 
I guess Evans has difficulty with the 'How to Head a ball' spreadsheet.
 
Smalling having a great game. This is why I always rated him higher than Jones. He looks like a natural defender. If he can only sort his poor concentration from time to time and injury problems, half of our problems in defense would be settled. Other half is Evans.
