Set up by Herrera with a brilliant turn away from his man to feed Valencia which eventually leads to the goal.

No one makes the difference. It's not up to specific players, it's about the whole team. They don't necessarily lack winning mentality, but they lack mutual understanding. I have no doubt once everyone settles in, it will be just fine. Yes, United lack some players, LVG must choose carefully what kind of players he will bring in. They need to click fast. This year it doesn't need to be as fast as next year, as long as United get the results. So far it's poor, but it's far from bad. We always expect more, and that's wht we should do.

Why not, he has performed better than most players and before he came to United he was very good PL winger.

You can enjoy big names like Falcao.

Actually I haven't enjoyed anyone tonight, apart from Herrera, Shaw and Di Maria since the Preston goal have stepped up big time. Ashley Young has had a positive impact as it was like playing with 10 men when Falcao was on.
 
At home against smaller sides play rooney and one of fellaini/wilson/rvp up top against bigger sides and maybe away put in another midfielder but keep the width of young and angel.
 
I'm sure he can get his *** off his seat. The team mirror the manager. We maybe winning, but it's preston, who's team cost £0!!!!!!. I think he should get off his *** and show some passion, you never know the team might respond before we go 1 down, and against a better team we would probably be 2 down as we couldn't muster a shot on target for 60 minutes

Herrera is hit and miss. He'll to some amazing things, but then he'll have brainfart and give the ball away. One thing he brings is energy and enthusiasm, which United midfielders lack. However, Di Maria is very similar in that regard, so I understand why Herrera and Di Maria midfield is somewhat risky.

Yeh but Herrera hasn't had a real run in the team to find his best form, he deserves that chance and I think it's harsh to expect a player who has rarely had a game not to make a few errors.

Herrera is well capable of playing simple passes but it would be too boring as we have Blind to do that. Herrera is fantastic player and should play every single game.

Ah, if it's only that simple, is it. It doesn't matter how much you pay for a players sometimes. Sometimes its all about passion and having a good day. United lacks composure, but that comes from playing together, being familiar and to trust each other. Against better teams United generally plays better.
