Rofl. I love moyes, but is he really that desperate?
Do I really need to answer that lol

Ah. Not good then. Thought he was a good little player. Though basing that on hearsay-haven't seen him play a dam good while
Shoot first. Pass later.
Oh well. Saying that, don't think it was anything more than gossip now. Just been reading that we can't afford to buy this window apparently and it's going to be a case of free transfers. Would appear that the Arteta money has already dried up. Oh well. Was exciting to be linked with a player for a while.
*shuffles off to look for some prozac*
You can have Gibson for free. <3
Nah Sunil, changed my tone a bit now, glad to see youre still a tool though.
Should be a good game on Sunday, though Yaya and Barry are both out and they have probably been the best CM partnership in the EPL this year.
@Joel, dont point that finger at me, i dont think anyone is being arrogant, it was our first season in the CL and it was a big test for an untried team. You can ask Dunc if you want, on IRC im quite fair and i honestly believe utd will win the title, im not arrogant, in fact im basically the opposite, before every game i wish the other team luck and i often think we will lose.
@RyanStubbs, I think you forget Utd were the ones who begun all this big spending with signings such as Keane, my dad told me that the whole country thought fergie had gone mad when he paid whatever he did for Roy Keane (Maybe worked out as he became a world class player). You can take your moral high ground, but the fact is you have spent plenty of money over the years, im sure the utd fans who speak any sense will agree with me there.
Good luck on saturday to Manchester United, i will not be arrogant, always take defeats like a man and never underestimate any teams, hoping most city fans on here do the same![]()
I don't have a problem with city spending 30-40 million on aguero and silva because they deserve that price tag but I have a problem with the amount of wages city players receive;it is ridiculous how much they receive!
Sigh.
No it isn't. The market determines how much they're paid.
That depends - at first, City offered really massive wages to attract good (Or rather good-ish) players to a rather average side, which resulted in average players getting paid a lot of money (Santa Cruz, Bridge, Jô) and some costly flops (Robinho, anyone?). Their recent acquisitions are a different matter, though.
That's the point. They offered massive wages in order to attract better players, therefore becoming a better team and a bigger club, and acquiring more success, and making more money. It's just how it works. It's the market.
You wait until Joel' gets here.![]()
Well, most of their signings were ***** and actually helped increase players' demands.
Either way, I'm not waiting for Joel, I'm slightly drunk and it's taking me ages to read, let alone type without significant spelling mistakes. I'll be off to bed in 10', that's as much as I'm willing to wait.
Joel' said:HERP DERP ECONOMICS IZ COOL
I reckon it's a pretty decent impression.
We all know he'll win eventually, either by actual knowledge or by sheer strength of numbers - as in a few mahoosive walls of text. Thus, I'm offering my inconditional surrender and heading off to bed. You lot have a good night arguing about City's wages and Downing playing on the right, although it's probably morning over there already...

If we sign a 33 year old i will **** a live, clucking chicken.
Say whatever you want there are players who deserve much more money than barry, santa cruz, wayne bridge etc.Oh the irony. :$
