surely not the answer to our midfield tho mate, should give players boost tho.
Of course not, but he did well given the circumstances.

So Foy was following the letter of the law. Which further proves the inconsistency of decision making as I've seen far worse/similar in other matches and the players stay on the pitch. I don't know. Sent off for winning the ball. Whatever next.
City are appealing the red card, and rightly so
you're probably right, which is crazy. I swear the appeal system doesn't work on most occasions (Milijas and Barton both failed). Made even worse since Kompany is in my fantasy teamYou know what-I don't think it'll be overturned. If the ref was following the letter of the law (lol), and both feet were off the ground, I think It'll be upheld. Which is totally wrong. Terrible decision
he didn't lunge in with 2 feet but did tackle with 2 feet and his studs were showing but that's about it. If you watch a replay you'll see he won the ball cleanly and didn't touch the man. yellow at worst since it was a bit reckless but it wasn't dangerous so didn't deserve a redjust got back from the game. i've only seen the sending off live and clearly saw a two-footed lunge. is my vision correct?
also for those complaining about the ref, kolorov took valencia out at 3-1 in the area and it wasn't given.
And even if the ref was bias, we've been due some big decisions in big games.
I was outraged when the ref blew the whistle for a foul and could not believe he was sent off.
Regarding the penalty incident, I thought the United one was outside the box and then I have seen the Phil Jones handball incident given before. They are debatable though so I don't blame Foy for them. Aguero deserved MoTM way more than Rooney IMO and his work-rate showed me a spirit that has been lacking in South American/expensive footballers.
An interesting game for the neutral anyway
As a neutral(hate both clubs), it was a really good game to watch. Kompany's red was a tough one...he did go with two feet, which merits the red, but there was no malicious intent, and Nani stayed upright, and he got the ball too. I can see why a City fan would be disappointed, but it would a very hard decision. TBF, I expected Nani to flop, act like he had been shot and all the rest(which he has done before), but to his credit, he stayed up and kept playing.
Welbeck's volley was very good, but De Jong should have put himself across the shot, rather than stand off, which I guarantee Mancini would have had words about. Kolarov was outstanding, two exceptional free kicks, on that went in, and the one right at the death.
Rooney seemed to look a lot better today, which will be a wonderful sight for the ManU fans, especially after Wednesday, when he was silent. Nostalgia seeing the Ginger Ninja back, but I can only see that as a morale boost to the squad. He is nowhere near the player he was, and hasn't played for a long time. Surely SAF would look to the younger midfielders in the Reserve and Academy? I know that he isn't the most popular player at United, but I am sure Gibson should have been considered too?
Mentioned Gibson a while back possibly going to Everton. They'd be happy to give us him for free apparently. Think that speaks volumes lol
You're joking right?
We'd give you £3m to take him from us.![]()
