swear most of those were just simple short sideways passes. He had a couple of longer range passes but even those weren't vintage Scholes that he's known for
 
ManU still need to bring in a creator. Scholes will do until the end of the season, but long term, it will effect them if they don't. Sneijder may be everyone's top choice, but there are plenty of players that could come in and do that......

Rafael van der Vaart- I think SAF missed a trick when he left Real. Would have been the perfect creative signing, and I think he would give up WHL if SAF was interested.

Sergio Tejera(Mallorca)- Not all of you may know him, but he is one of Spain's top talents ATM. Vision, Flair, superb passer, and only 21

Luka Modric- I again see him being one of SAF no1 choices when he does decide to go after a creative CM.

Marek Hamsik- I don't know if he is linked or not, but another well worth a look, and could be cheaper than most others.

Sergio Tejera used to play for Chelsea. Was annoyed when we let him go because he does posses quite a bit of talent.

To be fair to Scholes, This was his first proper match in 5-6months. Can cut him a little slack.
And to be even more fair to Scholes, Man City wasn't exactly leaving players open for a pass.

Yeah, that's the one. Getting football at Mallorca, and is really showing talent. Many reckon he will move to a big club within the next three years.

ye I was just saying that stat is not something to show off about. I can't see him being a success but im not Fergie so I don't know :P he's the master

I can't see Scholes being that important to us, but I can see him being the thing we need right now. Just someone to slow the play down, dictate the pace of the game in the last 30mins if we're in the lead.

Bring them on, after today we can beat anybody.

I just had a feeling we'd be drawn with them, we seem to every year.
 
Think it'll go to a replay myself. Which neither team want. Unless any more pool players get arrested
