Unique?! The French league is more aggressive, The Bundesliga is quicker and more intense, and we pass at a similar rate as la liga, though they execute it better. Should mention the italian league still defends better than us.

Most teams in Europe already can play a high tempo press, which used to be our stand out point, and we don't even do that as well any more. There is nothing particularly unique about our league other than the fact we are absolutely ROLLING in cash

I normally mesh with a lot of your POV (outside of Utd, smiles); but I'd completely disagree on this one.

The physical demands asked of players are still uniquely different in the English game to anywhere else. From the constant congestion through the lack of a midseason break to the way the fans demand all out attacking football and all points in-between it's a constant still out on it's own.

By no means is it the best league in the World as has been added above the page. (If probably still the most exciting league given in large part to the lack of competent defending.).

But we'll have to agree to disagree that the nature of English football in most every aspect is different to most anywhere else World wide.

It's funny old game really because we're all seemingly having a bit of a meltdown about spending £36m for Martial in a very inflated market no doubt.

But 10 years ago or whatever it was, we paid only £6-10m less for Rooney, who whilst had just over season of experience in Premier League. Was a massive gamble at the time in itself as well.

Not really, he'd just bagged 4 goals at the European Championships and made the team of the tournament. played over 60 games for Everton, 11 times for country, he was much less of a risk at that stage than Marital is now by comparison

He doesn't have pace, he can't beat a man easily and he won't run at full backs on the outside. He does hang near the touchline and passes inside to be a part of buildup play but he isn't like those players.

It's 25 Million euros, not pounds. Which is around 18 Million pounds.

Yeah, it's between him or Aguero. On their best form, Silva is better than Hazard for me. He controls the game better than anyone in the league.

We don't even know what went behind the scenes. Madrid made embarrassing bid and maybe they just left it hoping ManUtd will blink first and accept that offer, since it's a deadline, equation changes very quickly.

I honestly don't think we can afford to go so far behind City, right now if we lost that game for example and they won it would already be a gap of 8 points.
