Darmian played quite a few times for Torino at LB so its not a case of trying him there. He can easily play there. Id much rather have Valencia at RB and Darmian at LB than play Young at LB.

He actually played about half of his games at left back last season if I remember correctly mate, and he did just as well there as on the right. Defiantly an option for United if it comes to that. Not sure if the whole left foot / right foot thing would come in to it with Van Gaal though!

Have to say very much impressed with Martial. He has very good physical presence and also the way he cuts inside so that defender can't tackle him is class.

Made a brilliant start and hopefully it continues.
