The Manchester United Thread

Yeah Martial needs to be a winger and run at people. Unfortunately this also means that Memphis has a big ******* problem.

Unfortunate in a way but fortunate in another because he seems to like costing us goals.

Costing us goals? Only goal I remember Memphis costing us was the header on the reverse fixture

He loses so much possession, and for a strong looking lad, He get's knocked off the ball like He's a 5 stone weakling.
I'm certainly no fan of his anyway.

Yeh as the other guys have commented, there have been other instances where he has as well. I personally think his attitude is one of the main issues, that need sorting out, I'm sure LVG is addressing it though as he knows him better than any of us. Quite telling that he has gone from starting games to barely featuring in them though.

In other news, Gary Neville continues to make a muppet out of himself in Valencia.

I have no idea what Valencia board was expecting. Who the **** hires a guy to a serious club, purely on basis that he talks nice on TV?

Guess he's never going home again:

He might not even go back to punditry either. Because that **** will never go away. He will never look credible as pundit again, not after his first attempt at management turned out to be an embarassment of epic proportions.

Seriously, I don't know what was he thinking when taking that job. Its hard enough to start managerial career right in the top division. But to do it in another country, without knowing the league, ****, without even knowing the language?

Poor guy ****** his career proper. Seems like a wee bit of ego got to him.

Great man Abraham..

Are the people in Valencia using excuses like Liverpool fans do for Klopp? Like how it's not his team and all that?

Things will get worse for him imo. Valencia became big circus with that owner and Mendes.

There was another where he was directly at fault, plus about 5000 counterattacks when he lost the ball like a moron.

Yep and since September things are worse as there is no Luke Shaw behind him to save his **** every time he ***** up his unreadable cutting inside tricks.

If Jamie Redknapp can steal a living as a pundit I think Neville will be fine. Sky will welcome him back with open arms he is the best out there and at least he had a go which is more than most of these so called pundits.

Idk what Neville was thinking taking that job, at least start off somewhere like Salford first as a manager.

It was a crazy move.
As a pundit, He's know for saying things like "What was the manager thinking?", "I don't know what goes on in managers heads sometimes", "Why did the manager leave X on the bench?"...

Well Gary, now you know.

It didn't stop Shearer when he failed at Newcastle going back to been a pundit, so Neville should also be safe.

But shearer is a better manager than a pundit. He's stealing a living

Dont understand why people are criticizing Neville. Yes he has not done well in his first stint as a manager but at least he had the balls to dive into it and give it a go. Most pundits talk a great game on television but run at the first sight of trouble in the real world. My favourite case example as usual being Roy Keane

Except Roy actually had some success as manager.
