Januzaj is injured too. And Bojack Crossman is ill.

This is literally Arsenal level injury meltdown.

I wouldn't want to sell him. £70million-£80million+ would be hard to turn down though..

70M is madness, 20-30 Million they can have him considering the wages he is on. He had knee injury and will be 31 next season, so even less mobility than this season. We can't rely on him anymore.

Saying that hopefully we don't put any pressure on him to move to China. He is ManUtd legend and should be treated with bit of respect.

Same respect he treated United with when he tried to force a move out just to get a bigger paycheck. Rooney being a United legend is disrespectful to the real United legends.

Pereira not starting is shocking decision when he is our best U21 player. At least every substitution will be very interesting as it's full of U21 players.

Also ManUtd have won 6 league games in 5 months. Beyond pathetic how Van Gaal is still in charge of United.

Like George Best, Keane, Ronaldo?

Saying Rooney is not United legend is just foolishness when he is on verge of breaking all the scoring records for United.

Tbh I'm not classing him as a United legend, a once great player but not a legend. To me the legends are in a different bracket to him. Players like Charlton and Scholes for example.

Not surprised, LVG has mismanaged Pereira from start of season, infact his tenure in general at this club has been full of mismanagement. Genuinely another Pogba situation, only hope is if we get a new manager might convince him, then again if it's Mourinho he's as good as gone.

Also regarding the 6 league games in 5 months we have won being beyond pathetic, it certainly is but how do you not put any of this blame onto Woodward for letting this fiasco roll on and cost us another season completely? If we had of acted after Stoke or Norwich game season would of been perhaps savable but now, nothing. Just like with the Moyes situation as well. We wait too long, needlessly.

Meh. Scoring records are great and all, but he wont be remembered in the same light as say Best, Scholes etc..

Best was an ******* too, wanting bigger contract, going to training drunk, missing trainings.
Keane wanted bigger contract and ManUtd had to break their wage structure and IIRC had to increase ticket prices to give him bigger contract. At that time Madrid and few other big clubs wanted him.
Ronaldo signed multiple bigger contracts in the name of Madrid and finally moved to Madrid.

Here is the player who spent all his peak years for the club but somehow he is not a legend. He is hated because this is Internet era with many morons overreacting for everything (not aimed at anyone, in general). Down the line, people will remember him very fondly for the years of great service.

I'm a little bit excited by the lineup tonight.
Can't explain it...

True but forgive me if I'm wrong but didn't rooney blag his way into saying that United were not ambitious enough for him during fergie's era just to get a bigger pay. P.s Keane is just a horrible ****.

He questioned United ambition when they replaced Ronaldo and Tevez with Valencia and Owen. Horrible thing to do as a key player but that was the thinking of all United fans that Glazers are not investing in the squad.

If he felt that and wanted out to enjoy his peak years then he has every right to ask for transfer. He was convinced by Gill and Fergie and signed new contract.

Papers said he got bigger contract but IIRC Gill or Fergie confirmed he signed the same contract that was offered in the first place.

Selling Rooney wouldn't be a terrible idea. The season is over for him, he's on a massive wages with longterm contract and he's only going to get worse every year. I'd take 70 million and run before the Chinesse changed their mind.

70million is absolutely ridiculous for him, especially at this stage of his career, he's practically done at the top level anyway.

It would a great time to move on from Rooney, personally I've questioned him for few seasons now so it's definitely time for him to leave.

But they didn't offer 70M. No one in their right mind would offer 70M for him. Stranger things have happened though, hopefully Chinese clubs goes full meltdown mode and pay hefty sum.

What the actual ****? Someone wants Rooney? Let alone for some cash? And by some I mean 70 ******* million of something?
Guys, GUYS, start the petition right now, we need to act fast while they don't change their minds.

De Gea injured in the warm up apparently, my god, LVG is going to be managing the grass at this rate.
