Tbh though even you can admit that Shrewsbury played right into our hands, especially in first half.

Our real test will be Thursday and Sunday. If lose either of them games our season is as good as over apart from FA Cup. Next two games are must-win, or else we'll be knocked out of Europa or fall too far behind in top 4. We are somehow hanging on by a thread atm as we're only 6 pts behind City, somehow.

I gotta say that would be the absolute icing on the cake to pip City to top 4 and Pep starts with them in Europa League. But unfortunately we're just not consistent enough for that to happen.
 
By the way, I love Romero's distribution with throws. He always throws the ball in a way that forces United player to make a desperate sprint forward.

You can almost see the disgust on players faces, as they are forced to counter attack instead of receiving safe pass from De Gea and passing it sideways for 30 minutes.

Yup. That's the ONLY thing that matters in knockout cup football.

You get nottin' extra for style. In knockout cup football, winning, however you achieve it; is ALL that matters.

Yep and probably the only club in the world, who gives you the boot even if you progress but without style, is Real Madrid. :D
 
That's why cup games are real football, I get bored out of my *** watching league games where everyone is trying to be Barcelona nowadays.

I've lost a lot of patience these days. I want every game to have 4 or more goals. But I also want clinical defending and great blocks etc. Oh and acrobatic saves..... **** it...

I wish I got to watch as much football as I used to, I tend to try and give Barcelona lite teams the miss nowadays. Outside of English football I only really get to watch Atletico and occasionally Wolfsburg, oh and I have watched PSV a fair few times too.

Good to see Riley getting a start. He didn't show much in his last game, he is lot better attacking than he showed last game.

Also feel bad for Pereira, he should be starting at least one of FA cup or Europa game.
