The Manchester United Thread

Really? How long would you say you've been around these parts?

I'm sure zzezzy is already typing an essay about how having 16 injuries doesn't matter, and United should be conquering Europe with squad full of people who haven't even had PL debuts two months ago.

Yup. What difference do injuries make to a team amIright?

**** this game. Like having 16 players injures is not bad enough, now you get denied by post, you miss a pen, and opponent controls the ball perfectly with his ******* ****. Jesus.

Depay is actually quite good tonight. If he gets a bit cleverer in the second half he will be perfect.

Pretty good showing by United so far, all things considered. A lot of energy and determination in the team, you can tell that kids want to take their chance.

Memphis completed 9 dribbles in the first half...guess who's *****?

Kadlec coming on, another fcking FM wonderkid I've managed previously and scored for fun for me.

Why the **** ref does nothing to Mityljand player who tries punching people?

Schneiderlin MOTM to me. He shuts down every counter before it even starts, amazing game.

Rashford and Riley both been great tonight, in a season of despair like this it at least has some small positives when you see kids like this doing well.

Finally! Memphis is playing like we expected from him. MotM by far for me.

*****, you don't know a thing! Memphis is a MotM. !!1

What a performance again, atrocious really...

Edit: ****, sry, it was one of my templates for the United games.

Memphis was just amazing, the way ManUtd #7 should be playing. Taking full responsibility and playing with lot of flair. His tricks were so refreshing to watch when all season we have watched side way monotonous passing.

Rashford, Riley, Varela did really well. Lingard was embarrassingly bad. Few weeks he looks like a decent player and few weeks very atrocious.

Also Schneiderlin was a machine.

Fun game, it had everything. Missed penalties, red cards, early shocker, dramatic turn-around, stellar debuts and 6 goals.

First time this season that watching United didn't feel like gigantic waste of time.

We were good tonight but in reality midget land are an absolute nobody with not competitive match in 2 months, we will have way tougher teams than this. You can tell midget land fitness level took its toll in 2nd half.

Can't believe Napoli went out. Only sevilla or Dortmund now who u would really say is a threat (if we play anywhere near how we should be). Get a nice easy draw next round to get a few of the injured players back and we might have a chance

Now while I want LVG gone badly, I couldn't have blamed him if directly if we went out tonight what with 16 injuries or whatever. But I have to hand it to the whole team, I think everyone played their heart out today. The young fall backs were great, and I really like the look of Varela, Rashford was strong and fast, verymuch like a martial-esque player in some regards, and he bagged two very important goals tonight that then allowed us to romp them. Finally, Memphis, if this is how he is going to start playing from now on, then great because this is the form we were all expecting from him. Also, Schniderlin played well, absolute beast in midfield.

Anyone know how many interceptions he made tonight? Be interesting to know that.
