Who'd have thought it. Champions League next season having Leicester and potentially West Ham in it. Even Southampton are only 7 points off 4th with 18 to play for (was going to mention Stoke but their -3 GD may go against them).

Though ofc the downside of all this is the vultures will be circling waiting to poach their best players. The upside is a massive boost to the local economy.

Completely agreed. Its hilarious to see the faux outrage though when done by opposition fans and not a word when their own do it. Applied for both sets of fans.

5.5m is nothing compared to what other top clubs can pay.

Rumors that pep has signed 20m deal, conte 15m and im sure Jose would be paid atleast 15m.

Signing a 5 year deal might be an issue for both sides.

Sheffield Utd academy director has been appointed to help Nicky **** on the admin side of things. And John murtough has been appointed as head of football development and Nicky **** will report to him. For more info look on redcafe you academy restructuring thread. Can't post links phone is playing up sorry. Oh and our u18s won 7-1 today :)

You mentioned along with the link and I quote verbatim 'Class as always...'. Anyone with half a brain can see that you are taking a meaningless jibe at the fan base

Also ironic that you say things blow up when I post considering the events of recent weeks. Pot calling the kettle black and all that

Anyways my point is, these stories are meaningless. You have a handful of knobs in every fan base. What are you hoping to achieve by posting a link? So that we can all unite in mock outrage and make this a pseudo facebook or twitter site? Or more likely, try to provoke a reaction from LFC fans? Either way such stories provide minimum basis for discussion and really only cause trouble when posted

Exactly. Such stories are absolutely meaningless. If you just want the internet masses to unite in mass condemnation, might as well have posted it on Red Cafe. Posting it on a forum where fans of multiple teams interact is only going to cause trouble and before you know it, you have ridiculous back and forth accusations of Heysel and Hillsborough jumping out of nowhere like last time

Couldn't give a **** about recent events. There are few who are on the verge of breakdown everytime with their faux outrage.

If you have followed recent events then you would have understood why I posted it which btw i made it clear in reply to Mike. Faux outrage when something is done by opposition.

5 points effectively with goal difference behind City with 5 games left to secure CL football.

Doable but unlikely, LVG as good as gone without CL, I hope that is a certainty.
