Goal.com :)) An attacking player ruined by LVG. I agree with Di Maria interview he recently did saying he became unhappy with training and playing under LVG and restricting his freedom and creativity and asking him to play to many roles/positions. Not saying it's all completely LVGs fault but a big chunk of it.

It's the way he left that ****** me off. He reiterated that he was staying at united. 2 weeks later, he doesn't even come back from argentina and he already flew to France.

That was just complete disrespect to the club. I hope we get better as a team and meet PSG in the champs league someday. Mehn Knocking PSG out with that snake would bring me so much joy.
 
**** this guy tbh. Ancelotti moved him to CM and I didn't hear any whining about playing out of position.

It all depends on the freedom he gets, man.At real he may have played CM, but with Ronaldo drifting in, he would usually maraud to the flank, not to mention that Carlo is Carlo, he can get away with anything with his man management skills
 
Quick question for united fans, how do you feel about the possibility of giving leicester city the guard of honor at Old trafford?

Agreed, they have been great this season.
On another note, has anyone noticed the similarities between last year's Chelsea and Leicester this year?The only reason we aren't screaming 'boring boring' is because of the beautiful story that Leicester is.My point is not to discredit Leicester or Ranieri, they have done really really well this season, but do you guys think this is the blueprint to win the premier league?Win with great football for the first half and then play pragmatically in the second half of the season?(with counter attack all the time).Would we(at Utd)be okay with such football if Mourinho comes here and we win the league??Just some food for thought

There is a reason why I don't get all morally outraged by these things, probably why it got under the Liverpool fans skins last time it happened. The vast majority of fans are great, there is always a small minority of idiots. It's the world we live in. I'm sure they won't mention it when the shoe is on the other foot anymore than I'm sure United fans do. C'est la vie.

They have been winning because of a lack of consistency from sides, and the fact it's taken so long for sides to come to terms with what Leicester do.

I don't think it will work as well next season, it might however suit them in Europe very well
 
There was lots of talk about whether Pochettino would find United a better attraction than Spurs, and the general standing of the two clubs. Well, he's not signing their mega 5 year 5.5m a year offer (which would make him the highest paid Spurs manager ever) until he recieves assurances that Spurs will not sell their star players in the summer...
 
Who'd have thought it. Champions League next season having Leicester and potentially West Ham in it. Even Southampton are only 7 points off 4th with 18 to play for (was going to mention Stoke but their -3 GD may go against them).

Though ofc the downside of all this is the vultures will be circling waiting to poach their best players. The upside is a massive boost to the local economy.

Completely agreed. Its hilarious to see the faux outrage though when done by opposition fans and not a word when their own do it. Applied for both sets of fans.

5.5m is nothing compared to what other top clubs can pay.

Rumors that pep has signed 20m deal, conte 15m and im sure Jose would be paid atleast 15m.

Signing a 5 year deal might be an issue for both sides.

Sheffield Utd academy director has been appointed to help Nicky **** on the admin side of things. And John murtough has been appointed as head of football development and Nicky **** will report to him. For more info look on redcafe you academy restructuring thread. Can't post links phone is playing up sorry. Oh and our u18s won 7-1 today :)
