Who said I believed it? I said "reported". But considering we do not have to pay for him, it would make sense for him to ask for an inflated wage on a short deal. If we dont pay that, and he's only arsed about his wage, he'll be on the first plane to China.
Of course Higuain would be paid £200k or more. Thats the going rate now at a top club for the best players. IF we signed Ibrahimovic and IF he is paid the REPORTED £600k a week, thats £21m a year (200k short) difference in wages between Higuain on £200k and Ibrahimovic on £600k. So on a 2 year contract for Ibrahimovic, the difference in wages would be the equivalent of paying £42m for him.
So yes, Id rather buy Higuain for £60m and pay him £200k a week on a 5 year deal, than get Ibrahimovic for free and pay him £600k for 2 years (equivalent of buying him for £42m and paying him £200k a week). Higuain works out £12m a season in transfer fee over the 5 years. Ibrahimovic would be on a short deal and in effect would work out at £21m a year in a transfer fee (difference in wage).
All if's and buts and speculation but you can see my point.
All this if that 600K is believable, which it isn't and if Higuain demands only 200k and not more than that.
I would rather spend that much money on Lukaku who has similar goal scoring record in PL.
Higuain would be short term signing so is Ibra. So spending so much on transfer fee is waste of resources.
