City deserved it imo over coarse of season will be hard to beat again next seas!
 
As disappointed as I am, winning the league would have just papered over the cracks of a season when we were pretty poor, it has to be said. Hopefully this season will serve as a bit of a kick up the ****...

If city bought the league then so did we.

Bollocks were we poor, we finished second on 89 points. That is a record for second place, and only 6 points off the most points in premiership. We finshed neck and neck despite having some flaws in the centre of the park. We will be back next year, and hungry as ever before.

You don't win or lose the title in one game, but today had some phenomenal games and results! It seemed, right until the final whistle, that United were going to scrape a win (no offence, but City seem to have been better throughout the season)! However, Fergie is no mug and knows that United weren't good enough this season and he will be looking to add to the squad in the summer.

Unlucky United, but you cannot deny that City deserved the title; they did win it, after all! I'm looking forward to next season, and Euro 2012, so much!

To be fair, 'Got Lucky' is pretty accurate. And to a lesser extent 'City only won cus United was poor' is as well.
But I'm not going to moan and groan. It's been a **** of a battle and a brilliant end. Let's hope the other teams step it up next season and bring something else to the party.
 
United were amazingly poor in the final matches of the season.This is the time we usually keep our cool and go and finish the job.We missed Vidic a lot in the big matches this year.Just hoping we buy a lb,creative midfielder and sell park.

Irony, remember last season how Liverpool fans and other fans said United only won as league was poor. They were better than all the poor teams and all.

Great end to the season, just 2 mins between what could have been great season and just an ordinary season.

Congrats to City though, Kompany and Richards deserved it.
 
Next transfer window will be fascinating to watch to see who's out/in. I seriously don't think there's going to be a finish to a season like there was today for a good while

We were definitely good enough. finished with more points than what it took to win it last year. scored more goals than last year, dropped 8 points at home, and have a better away record than last year. All while having the worst injury run since 1998.

I think in another season you wouldnt have lost 8 point lead. Thats what they mean by 'utd were poor', I think.
 
89 points is a remarkable achievement with our squad and injuries. With the amount of points we've thrown away from winning positions, with Vidic all season we'd have comfortably finished in the 90s.

If we were 'poor' and finished with 89 points, other teams should be scared about what we'll achieve with the almost inevitable investment next year.

Erm.....no games lost no. Been a nifty piece of wheeling and dealing...along with Jelavic. Jelavics agent, I suspect will be getting phone calls....
