Solid, professional performance. Some really nice moments, but let's not get carried away, this will stand for nothing unless we go on and claim all 3 points on Saturday. Lingard, Martial or Mkhitaryan in for Carrick, switch Mata to the middle, and drop Pogba back to his best position... and most importantly, get the job done against Dyche's gritty side!

Nice to be in a quarter final, winning games this late in any cup competition is never a hindrance. Especially not in a local derby as a bonus.

As a fan I'd rather be in every competition than lose to anyone.

I'll never get the attitude how people don't want to be but each to their own.

Exactly.
Imagine a boxer throwing a bout because 'he wasn't really into this belt'.

How many mistakes does Phil Neville make? He referred to Sterling as "Schneiderlin" and prior to the game, he said Pogba could get the best of Carrick instead of the other way around. The funny thing is, he knows he made the mistake almost instantly after it leaves his lips and pulls a frustrated face - anyone else notice it? :D It's comedy haha

Probably why Gary's a respected pundit and Phil's not.

As poor an analyst as he was an average footballer.

Carragher was in the pub Sat'day having a few bevies before the game. Never even noticed until I was walking out. If it would of been one nearer the ground all the ******* day tripping whoppers would of been all over him. SMH again.

HOME DRAW, nice. And hosting West Ham, not too bad... could've been worse with Pool & Arsenal in there.

Fair play to Jose for that, showing humility and connecting with the fans. A morale boosting win now on to Saturday to the truly important game against Burnley, get the momentum rolling with 3 points.

He played really well, as always... always composed, positional awareness was really good, his first thought was to look up and see a forward pass which is the thing I love most abut him, but a 3 man midfield isn't our best system in my opinion (Pogba in a #10 role is basically a 3 man midfield) especially against lesser opposition, so he will inevitibly be rested once again come Saturday, and we'll probably re-shuffle with Mata going into the #10 role, Pogba dropping deeper, and probably Lingard in on the right or left hand side.

Must say, I never expected to see Jose offer a gesture like this. I don't care what anyone says, this has been his dream job always.

When he and his agent were begging to come to ours before Rafa he must just of been desperate I guess. ;).

But then lil' Luis Garcia made sure he'd hate us with a passion forever. :D.

Ironic how we jibbed his approach off after his touchline antics for Porto at Old Trafford being as he's just lectured Conte on etiquette.
