The Manchester United Thread

Still questioning majorly the players attitude though, Schneiderlin looks unfit no wonder he hasn't been ****** playing.

Our back four is a shambles, made up of 4 full backs.

Luke Shaw has been terrible tonight, not the same player since injury, really worried about where we are heading as a club.
More like he hasn't looked the same since mourinho criticized him publicly

We need to do some research and find out who the next manager will be.
Just so we can formulate some reasons why it's his fault, and not the ***** kicking the ball.

Pity the lads who paid hard earned money to travel out there to watch that utter garbage.

Only saving grace is Feyenoord drawing and qualification still being in your own hands.

Managers job to set them up and motivate them so they all are.
True. But can't blame Mourinho for players not putting in effort or getting tight to players showing a bit of desire. I'm sure he doesn't set his players to play like this in training. Also agree with Owen and Scholes. A lot of these players should not be starting or at our club.

Which is where my conundrum lies, I agree that a lot of these players shouldn't even be at the club. But I expected him to clear more deadwood out in the summer and he has already come with some ludicrous statements. For example he will make everyone love Fellaini in the pre-season and he will never sell Rooney.

I'm all for backing a manager, but I don't think he is even on this wave length. We can't be keeping players like Rooney who are on £300,000 a week if he isn't putting in fantastic performances week in, week out.

Rooney good goal, but we created **** all through him tonight and he was poor, it can't overshadow that.

I haven't seen the interview, just going off the above, but it has to be asked, 'Does he EVER look at himself?' (That's rhetorical BTW.).
TBH he's blamed himself plenty of times this season after matches or in interviews in the days after. I'm not saying he's is completely blameless by any means. Put the players need to take stick also

Don't think either will be here after the summer along with many others.

I'll take your word for it but I'm mind to remember the recent Chelsea aftermath when he was getting praise in here but at no point through that did he directly hold hid hands up and point the finger at himself. It was a very cleverly worded apology. Particularly the program notes the next home game.

And no question the players need to take a long hard look at themselves. They both go hand in hand. You win as a team. You lose as a team. Everyone's in it together and share in the praise when it's deserved and the criticism when that's warranted.

But again it's still in Utd's own hands to qualify so not all doom and gloom. Granted that's probably not much consolation right now but still.

To be honest we have no choice other than to back Mourinho and hope he gets this team functioning. I'm not confident it will happen but we have no one else to turn to anyway. This is the last straw of top managers that will come in my opinion, if this reign goes wrong then it will be more of a long-term rebuild. Although lets face it, this is just a shambles, our team is just a can of worms with high wages at the moment.

The main problem here is the poor mentality

True, well, the league hinges on Swansea for me. If we don't beat them we can pretty much write off anything happening this season as regards to top 4. No way this team is coming back from more than an 8 point defecit just off the top 4 places alone.

If you don't beat Swansea then you have got massive cause for concern.

They are in absolute turmoil and a knocking bet for relegation. They've a worse side now than the one they got promoted with under Rodgers. Unreal how a picture perfect way to run a modern day football club has turned to absolute **** SO fast on and off the pitch with an ownership change.

Absolute carnage going on in South Wales.

BTW, I saw L'pool's U-18 side went top for the first time this year last Sat'day morning.

Fixing to be a real exciting season the youth level both for those top 4 places the playoffs at the U-18 level, and the battle to win the U-23 league. With the FA Youth Cup on top.

Three of the top youth teams the Country at City, Utd and L'pool is leading to a great season to follow up here. And Everton have some real good kids too.
