As ridiculous as that lineup seems, don't mock until after the game or people will be pointing and laughing at you.

Let it play out first before you go nuts.

That said, if you don't beat this absolutely woeful Swansea side .....

Rojo, Carrick and Jones in the back 4 but leaves blind on the bench? Who thinks he's playing a back 3 with Carrick and fellaini sitting, Young's work rate on the left as more of a wing back, pogba with his juventus box to box role?

im 35 yrs old,have seen many teams in my time predominantly under sir alex but i have to admit that this squad is a shadow of what were were a few years ago.Admire jose but his reluctance to use TFM and tuanzebe is a little dissapointing.

What isn't wrong with this formation? Young at RB? ROJO starting, fellaini starting, rooney starting? Mata playing on the right? Ibrahimovic starting when he needed to be benched? Mhkitaryan not in the side at all? To top it off, we have a guy that hasn't played first team football for over a year now. I repeated his name twice on my initial rant post for a reason

Not fussed about the CBS very little choice tbh. Tuanzebe is playing tomorrow and the again with England midweek he was never gonna play. Blind needs a rest. TFM has a knock.

But otherwise yeah, weirdass lineup. Mkhitarian not even on the bench, ******* Jones and Rojo as CB, frontline of Ibra/Mata/Rooney has zero speed and mobility...seriously, what the ****.

I agree with Scouse's point on reserving judgement until after the 90, but I do share your concerns too. Let's see.

We have no fit CBs that's our problem atm.

Back 3 with Carrick and fellaini sitting. Tons of work rate down each side with Rooney and young. Pogba in his free role. Mata in behind ibrahimovic. I really hope that's how he's playing this. Get the best out of pogba and mata in one lineup

Our problem is Mourinho atm more than anything with his baffling selection and exclusion of pkayers he just doesnt like it seems.
 
Honestly it's one of the most bizarre lineups I have ever seen in my entire life. CB pairing that never played together before. No wide threat because Rooney, Ibra, Pobga and Mata will all sit inside and stroke each others nipples. Fastest sprinter in the squad is probably De Gea. Either this is some genius strategy or Jose has gone completely mad.
