The Manchester United Thread

Mourinho on Shaw, is very similar to Klopp on Sturridge.

True.
"What you need in times like this is training. Your body has to learn new intensity of training and you have to learn what is serious pain or what is only pain."

Mourinho on Shaw, is very similar to Klopp on Sturridge.

Is it really? Shaw is still a kid and he just came out of a year long injury that could've been career ending. I think he's entitled to being a bit teletubby about that leg, you know?

I don't have a problem with comments about Smalling, who's a veteran player, and who as a centerback is expected to be tough as nails.Shaw should've been handled differently though.

We won a game, the media have to find something to discredit us. Reading what Jose actually said, its basically nothing.

He basically said some players can play when they aren't 100%, and some people cant. Shaw and Smalling are people that don't want to play when they aren't at 100%. And honestly, with Shaw coming back from a year long injury, you can't really blame him.

There is literally nothing to this whole thing. The media is just being the media and trying to cause ****.

It's the Daily Telgraph ffs. It's not like they pull stuff from their ****. Jose has lost the magic touch imo.

if that true wtf has happend to wenger
Even Arsene Wenger has never fallen apart like Mourinho. You never hear of these any personal issues with players or motivational problems. Even from the biggest lows, we always pull our finger out. Mourinho has lost something like 40% of his games in the past year.

Glad I'm down Southampton a week Sat'day.

This thread Utd- Arsenal could be absolute carnage and it's started already! Haha

I think it's way too early to drop a big statement like he's "lost his touch", we're not even a third through the season. At the very least let him finish this season and come back with an opinion.

He walked the league with Chelsea, and the way those spoiled brats behaved & performed last season (not unprovoked of course) nobody could've done anything with them, so I think it's very unfair to say he's lost his touch overnight (20 league games or whatever it totals up to). Manchester United is a ship that needs a lot of steadying, and from what I've seen, with some iffy results aside, he's on the right path with the attacking performances and big names he's attracted.

Meh, he may of not fallen apart totally but Mourinho has probably filled 3 trophy cabinets during Wenger's reign.

What's this got to do with Arsene Wenger? I'm not even attacking Mourinho. I just think that he's lost the magic touch. When a credible broadsheet like the Daily Telegraph is publishing stories on problems with Mourinho after such a poor year, something can't be right. I never took any of these conspiracies seriously until I read in in the DT. I will see if the Times have anything.

Devious F-ERS!

We need a strike back! Meet me the back of Wembley next Tuesday. Bring a blanket and keep the car running. We take down de Gea, we take down Utd!

Down with the Evil Empire! Viva la Revolution Wenger!
There are now rumours circulating that Bellerin is also injured. It seems we're determined to start a full blown injury crisis over the international break.

People judge Mourinho on a run of bad games this season and last season with Chelsea. It just doesn't seem a fair assessment when you consider Wenger has had many runs of bad games and has kept his job because Arsenal is run by Wenger. (Bit of an exaggeration but his influence on the board is huge). If he was at any other top club Wenger wouldn't of lasted nowhere near this time because he hasn't won enough.

Mourinho may of lost his touch, but so have many other managers during runs of games and bad periods. He'll get it back, sooner or later, maybe not even at this club. But he only won the title season before last. If you say Mourinho has lost his touch then so must nearly every manager who hasn't won anything in over a season.

People are looking at him on far more than mere results.

Yeh, they look in to it far too deeply and are trying to criticize his every **** move.

Mourinho walks out of the house wearing a green tie *omgomgomg lets make a story out of that*

Mourinho says some players are not committed enough *Lets make a story of Mourinho insulting players*.

People are trying to assess and put a spin on things that just are not there. I'm all for it if certain people and media especially are going to criticise others as much on their every move as they do Mourinho. But they don't, they are only doing this to Mourinho but if you see Klopp or Wenger or many other managers do something wrong, bet your dollar they won't try to put a spin on it as much.

Anyone know how long it takes to recover from a grade 1 muscle tear?
